If inter don't want him and no other club is willing to buy, then what are our options other than to get him back.

Perhaps China or USA would come calling during the summer. Let's hope for the best.

He cost 35 million quid and Inter are probably offering no more than 5 million, so the board are probably thinking Daniel James might need another season before being anywhere close to being ready for the first XI, and maybe he can divide wing time with Alexis.

The board will go all out to land the central midfielders we need, and with no Champions League again, spending will be limited.

Outs
Pogba - 120 million
Lingard - 8 million
Smalling - 20 million
Total sales - 150 million

Realistic Ins -
Declan Rice - 70 million
Jack Grealish - 70 million
Odsonne Edourde - 35 million
Adam Lallana? - perhaps on a free
Total spend - 175 million

Jude Bellingham looks like it's not happening

And so we will have the experience short term forward solution everyone wants.

Expect him to provide us 2 or 3 goals a season.

Translation: Nobody wants him because of his stupid wages and the fact he's not very good anymore.

If true, this is just bloody appalling. He is broken down. It also means all the talk of new signings is just bull shit. I enjoyed him at Arsenal, but he is just a shell of that player today.
Can you please explain how a player returning at the end of his loan spell is appalling?
He’s under contract at United, so do you expect him to stay on vacation in Milan for the remainder of his contract?

I think the point was that he is shit, he's not the future of Utd at all and the hope was he would make the move to Italy permanent. The fact that he's likely coming back to a club and a team that didn't really want him on vasts sums of cash is pretty appalling!

Great, so we don‘t need Sancho.
Well as we aren‘t capable of signing someone it is maybe best. And nobody will buy him anyway with those massive wages he is on.

Yes we definitely need another player who is rarely fit to play football. We only have about 5 of them already

At this point, just get him back and hope he has just a little bit of quality left in him. Even if we get Bruno, we aren't getting anyone else, and we are lacking in quantity.

Just another testament to what a helpless situation we have put ourselve in, that we may have to rely on Alexis coming back and performing. There is a complete lack of risk management at this club.

No way Pogba will go for the price you mention. I reckon we will get our money back on him and that will be it.

It's a power play is my guess. If he wants out he can't expect United to be paying big money to subsidise him. He can agree to a diminished financial future or come back here.

If true, it would just throw up so many more questions about this club and the decisions being taken. Hell it would probably mean we're already expecting a tough summer and are getting our house in order in preparation for it.
It means nothing other than we don't expect to receive an offer that would at least cover his wage.

I don't think he gives a rats ass where he is as long he gets paid. He is done as a footballer at highest level and I'm pretty sure he knows it. Might as well collect the money.

And there is only one place where he can get the money that he is currently due.

I suppose realistically he was always coming back. It's just when it's reported that we're willing to give him another chance that sucks. The fact is United have to play him as they're so short on players and clearly bringing new ones in is an issue.

No, the fact is that he is under contract until July 2022. There is nothing else in it.

No one wants him and/or wants to pay £500,000 a week for him. Unless he terminates his contract, which runs out in 2022, then we are stuck with him. He will probably be our 'new' right winger.

He has been less than a success in Italy. Selling him or loaning him out again will be even more difficult I think. I can't see him not getting game time at United if he is still with the club. Your 'There is nothing else in it' is just as much a guess as my 'fact'.

I cant see Pogba going for over £100 mill with only 12 months on his contract in the summer. Maybe a player and some cash will be more realistic

No, Sanchez is under contract until 2022 and United have to expect him to come back until they receive an offer for him. This is a fact not a guess. The article was empty enough that a third of it doesn't even concern Sanchez, it's just a clickbait article from ESPN.

This move is part of negotiations imo. Sanchez does not want to come back and seems that Inter want him too. United prefer it that way too but not at the present conditions where we are forking most of his salary
