Stranger things have happened.

If he leaves city due to no CL football, United may part ways with Solskjaer - and it will at least be discussed I’d say

I don’t think Pep has ever really fallen in love with city / has much loyalty to them.

But would you want him?

Obviously yes, but more chance of Jesus Christ himself being next manager

I doubt it very much.

His wife has gone back to Spain with one of their kids, I just don't see him spending anymore time here than the contract and I don't think he has much if any interest in United before coming City manager or has any will to turn the club around, he said himself that managing City makes it impossible. He's here for the Abu Dhabi pay masters and ex barca staff.

I would take him as manager and perhaps on a less fecked up timeline with no godawful state bought PSG or CIty it might've happened one day.

He said he's not managing us after managing City, so forget it. His next move will be Juve or PSG.

Even though he's suckled on the tainted teat of their corrupt Arab overlord Khaldoon Al Mubarak, I would still take him here - only to see the reaction of the bitters.

I am pretty sure he has explicitly said he would never manage us.

100% yes.

He gets his teams to play the kind of football I'd love to see us play. He's pretty much the only manager that - when backed financially - guarantees you great football and trophies.

Him managing City shouldn't put anyone off, tbh. One of our greatest managers ever in Busby spent his entire playing career at City and Liverpool.

Yes, of course. Never going to happen. Even if he hadn't been at City for the last few years, he wouldn't join a club that is a million miles from creating the conditions for his success.

Is Juve really the most interesting job out there for him? Seems pretty meh given they win everything always, bar the CL. And winning the CL with them isn't really historic, as it would be with, say, PSG.

Yes obviously but pretty sure he recently said he'd never manage United as he's never manage real

Okay he didn't play for us like Barca but still believe him

Factor in his clubs so far, prime Barca, heavy domestic favourites Bayern, heavy domestic favourites city.... Struggling United needing a big rebuild, na

If he hadn't already said he'd never manager Madrid and United this would make sense. United get into CL by finishing 5th, keep Ole another year. Pep takes a sabbatical, City bring in Poch. Pep then takes over United the following summer. This might be the only scenario that I could handle another season under Ole. Thank feck it's not reality!

I don't like having a massive cheater and corrupt manager for us. Although not sure the others are clean either.
I would probably take Poch over him.

Can't see him joining us.

On the other hand, what we do need to do is get on the phone with Poch RIGHT FECKING NOW before City do.

No. He is not the messi or Ronaldo of managers. There will be managers that will surpass him. Pochettino last year stoped him from winning the trophy he wanted the most and has the potential to surpass him. It won’t be difficult for Pochettino as all he has to do is to have the most expensive squad in football. Which at United, he might get. I rather we look for those type of managers with such potential rather than take one from our rivals.

If @adexkola agent fees aren't too high, absolutely. He is a great manager and would put us on the right track relatively quickly.

He had the chance when he met Fergie in 2012 was it? He turned us down when we were at the level of where City are now. He certainly wont come where we are now, but obviously I would have him. Anyone who says different is either a liar or a WUM.

I'd say he is the Messi of the managers - can do it at Barcelona & Spain but could not yet prove it when it mattered in a different league. Anyway not the time to talk about that now so I will pretend like I never made that comment.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
This is like being married to an absolute minger who stinks of B.O and has bad breath and asking, 'would you like a blowjob from a Glamour model?'...

Obviously the answer 'yes' - but will she wanna give you one...?

I very much doubt it.

We'll probably get him 10 years too late when he just a curmudgeonly old man who goes around antagonising everyone and holds up fingers to the press to show how many Carabao Cups he's won.
