Not sure (and really don't care) if that was of the highest quality, but brilliant entertainment all around. Really enjoyed that one, would go straight into classics if Ighalo chance went in.

Ole: I'm not going to speak to him through the media, I'll have to speak to him myself.
Reporter: Will you speak to him?
Ole: Probably not.

Was a bit frantic all round, some decent performances from Fred, Maguire (lucky not to be sent off), Bailly, Bruno and Shaw were solid. Would like to see more control with the ball, need Rashford and Pogba back in the team badly.

Needed the luck tonight, but this means nothing if we don't put together a run of 5/6 wins on the bounce.

But if we accept that Fred pushed Azpilicueta then surely that foul cannot go unpunished?
I think the "push" is so minor... You'd never get a penalty for that. But you would if you put two hands out and shoved someone to the floor.

Still can definitely see another ref thinking they cancel each other out so it was pretty lucky.

Huge result. We finally remembered how to put good balls into the box. What a treat having consistently good ball from set pieces. Thank f-k for Bruno!

If we can just get around teams more, and use the territorial advantage we get in most games, we will score more.

Did this really happen? Great takedown if it did.

Laughed out loud at both Maguire's excuse and Roy Keane's face when they covered it. Definite red. We got away with it.

Fantastic result, didn't know what to expect but I'm so pleased. Remember when we couldn't buy a win at Stamford Bridge when we were top dogs?

Enjoyable game and a big, big win for us.

In the interests of being impartial, a few things went our way tonight. No I'm not talking about the VAR incidents although many will - they were correctly disallowed. More the players Chelsea had unavailable and also the ones they lost during the game. We needed a bit of luck and we got it. Maguire should have been sent off.

Now to the performance. Battling and solid rather than spectacular. We looked well set up, well prepared, and ready to fight for it. We do still have those moments where we seem to lose ourselves and I always expect us to concede in those moments, but for 85 minutes it was encouraging - a good win.

Fred, Matic (1st half by far our best player), Bailly, Maguire, AWB. All impressive. People will still bang on about AWB's limitations going forward despite the fact he continues to put goals on a plate for the strikers. Fernandes was quiet but I'm not worried about him. Jorginho made sure we struggled to get him on the ball and he'll get better. Martial was himself - infuriating and brilliant in the same game.

Hopefully this will ease some of the over the top pressure on Ole for the time being. We are building a good team here. No Rashford, no Pogba, no McTominay and yet we put a performance out there. That's 7 wins from 10 away games against the top 6 under Ole. Thats too big a sample size to be an accident but.......we need to put a run together. On we go.

We suffered plenty of poor decisions down the years away to Chelsea so I'll enjoy getting a bit of luck with the Maguire kick out incident.

The two disallowed goals were rightly disallowed.
Karma for that season Drogba was offsides.
Yeah to be honest I felt Chelsea have been a bit unlucky in both PL games this season but the amount of decisions they've had against us over the years we were due some luck

The two disallowed goals were correctly ruled out but they got behind our defence enough and we would have been punished had they had a decent striker. Their defender getting a concusion and Harry Maguire staying on the pitch was harsh but i'll take it  Doesn't detract from some really good performances from Baily, Maguire, Fred, Shaw and Matic.

Our away support is the best in the PL. Easily.

It's absolutely one of those things that are open for interpretation and two different refs might get to two different conclusions.

Where we really got outrageously lucky is the Maguire incident.

Good 3 points. Neither team played particularly well but we were the better team.

Fred MotM. Williams was awful first half. Pleased with Shaw's performance. Delighted with both goals.
I’ve never been a great fan of Luke Shaw, but I thought he played really well tonight.

Watching the post match with Scholes and them, this Dermot Gallagher ex ref, does he EVER disagree with the refs calls. I find he always agrees with the decision of the ref.

It's Chelsea v Spurs on Saturday - so you just know we'll play a drab 0-0 against Watford.
If they could have a draw and we could win... but don't worry, Igdaho will score one in the box against Watford. He's destined to be there and score!

That save from Ighalo's shot near the end, I was already halfway into the air with arms raised. So close to being so sweet.

On a side note, did we get a few 5th booking suspensions today (fred and AWB I think?) :nervous:

That was the absolute best lineup that Ole could start and it included taking a chance with Bailly. Credit to Ole.

Martial pretty much did nothing except for the goal, but what a goal.

And to think some people say Maguire is not a WC player.

I though Fred had a good, solid match, not great like so many are saying.

Like some said Fernandes was the best player on the pitch. He has such great vision and skill, I just hope Martial can up his game and start anticipating some of Bruno's decisions.

I just found out Lindelof was sick, I was thinking Ole played him and Shaw in the back three to give some more pace.

Great win and 4th is on. Come on Pogba, up your training and get on the pitch.

Great result but we didn’t play particularly great imo.

Ighalo man of the match.

I've slagged off Bailly so much, rightfully so really, but tonight after not playing for fecking ages he did pretty bloody well. Many moments where he nearly made a total mess of things, but that's Bailly isn't it.
