Made my day and maybe week.

So many great performances. AWB stopped Sterling again and again and again. Maguire was immense and his positioning was spot on. Matic seemed in control of his area for most of the match and covered for the CDs brilliantly. Fred worked his socks off. Bruno had his moment of magic.

Ole had a great game plan that was executed to perfection.

Oles subs were class.

Also people moaning that it wasn’t a foul on Bruno we scored from, the thing is the referee got almost everything wrong for both sides, statistically speaking, someone was going to score from an error.

Martial got MOTM on Sky and led the line superbly. Fred and Matic,James worked themselves to the ground for the team.

Shaw, Lindelof, Wan Bissaka were excellent in defence with DeGea back to his best. All subs did their job when introduced and the McTominay goal was the cherry on top of the cake.

Looking forward to match of the day. Like old times. I despise City above all others. Even the traditional enemies. Because of their arrogance, because of Welcome to Manchester. Because of Pep and his bald hypocritical head. Because of the owners, even more despicable than ours. I cherish the Michael Owen goal against them. Wazzas overhead. McTominay today equalled those for embarrasing that twat they have in goal. Feck off ref Dean, who did his best for them. Feck off Pep, feck off those who disparage Martial and Matic and Shaw and others who give their hearts for the club. Delighted in particular for those three. Thank the heavens (and the club) for Bruno, what a find. In fairness. Also, what about AWB today?

Was nervous for this match, not because of the team's form which has been stellar recently, but because derby at home to City hasn't been our best fixture for the last several seasons. Was a truly magnificent performance however, what a day!

They look like a proper TEAM! The togetherness was insane today! Loving Martial and Bruno’s bromance! Those 2 and Rashford, and Pogba coming back is so positive for this group!

Actually excited for the first time in a while.

I let out a bloody scream when Scott scored! My neighbours might just complain
My wife had just put my son down for the night, and I screamed in joy and woke him up. The wife was not amused

Recommend we close down the Ole poll thread. We can have that discussion in May, but it’s bad form to keep it alive now.

Fantastic! I was so confident that City would win, but the players stepped up and delivered a fine performance. Couldn't be more satisfied.

It didn't feel like a lucky win, it felt like a well deserved victory. The team is coming together nicely, it all looks very promising.

AWB, Shaw, Maguire, Matic, Martial all deserve MOTM.

Great result but more importantly that feeling that this group is really together and will go far. Attitude, mentality, desire. This was like when we beat Chelsea with the looping Fletcher header. We didn't have the best players but we were the better team. You just feel something is growing.

still buzzing. What a performance! Lots and lots of positives and I believe there's something building. Ole deserves a ton of credit for this one, tactics was spot on. Fred, AWB and Martial were all massive today and Bruno's impact has been incredible. Get in!

Pep and Citeh can go pound sand.

Great result, what was needed, big win, the run were on needs to keep going. Plenty of the ball city had but, I don't think they created any note worthy chances. As for Fred's yellow card and VAR up holding it is a mystery, Mane against the foxes few months ago was even less, penalty given! Strange, never mind still got 3pts

Agree on subs, the Ingalo one especially, he held the ball up to get us out of bother when needed.

Yep he properly calmed us down, we needed that, a calm head to keep possession, fair play to Iggy he seems like a class signing.

Still buzzing, what a great result for us that is. I know a manager can't be judged on one game, but it's really getting there. Bruno might just be the key that unlocks everything else - everyone seems to have raised their game and are starting to show they are the players we signed. The run in for the end of the season is favourable as well, we should be able to go on a good run.

I scared the hell out of my three year old daughter with the McT goal. No negatives for me out of that. I'd liked to have seen Ighalo a bit earlier, but apart from that good all round.

Now hoping for a Villa win tomorrow. Like they said on Sky, screw fourth, let's be aiming for third.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Nothing beats a day in the pub winning the derby.

Excellent performance, pretty much across the team.

Now time to carry on drinking, eat whatevers available and listen to random 80s songs

Currently in kitchen eating a buttered croissant, drinking a can of Doombar and listening to Sheena Eastons "modern girl".

Good times.

(Get... the feck ... in).

Micah Richards is a bitter dick isn’t he?

“ one moment they’re in a relegation fight, now they’re in a champions league spot.”
Is he for fecking real?

xG on understat is 1.74 - 0.59 in favour of United which indicates how well the game plan was executed. Like Classic Mourinho. Concede possession and come out deserved winners.

Just had a quick look at the post match thread on the blue moon forum.... worth a look for a gloat. City fans slating their team and pep saying he doesn't get derbies... they dont seem happy we have beaten them 3 times this season.

I still can't figure out why James and Martial denied Bruno 2 goals :D
