Have to think that will postpone the CL for quite a while, think football is done for a while. Unless the PL decides to keep going.

1st big name player. Juve need to be careful too, it affects older people more and their squad old as hell.

Let’s just get these last fifteen minutes out of the way and get Liverpool officially knocked out. End the season on a high.

Really worrying news, half the Juventus squad are in the “very vulnerable” bracket.

Sarri needs to be careful. If he gets it with his earlier health issues and smoking habit, he's fecked.

What have Juve been up to since the games are not played in Italy? Presumably still training. The entire squad could have it.

Football should be stopped right away, along with all other sport. Have to halt the spread ASAP. Hoping that Ireland carries through with the rumours of closing schools and colleges too. Hope the guy gets well soon.

Surely, surely now the season will be postponed and EURO will be delayed to the next year. Baffling how UEFA hasn't acted smartly and just let the games be played so the whole thing is now a mess.

Liverpool/UK are so smart allowing this played with so many fans in the stadium. Ridiculous and idiotic decision.

That is the end to this fiasco now. Even UEFA cannot ignore this.
Won't be up to UEFA ultimately. Italian government will decide as will other governments. They can't have a tournament if teams have pulled out.

I think the players' unions will force the issue now.

Nit sure about individual leagues but I would think the Champions League, Serie A and the Euros will be postponed

Only a matter of time before a player was infected. Doubt we'll see a conclusion to the CL/Europa this season unless a magic wand is waved.

Statistically speaking, it's basically a certainty that there are premier league players already carrying coronavirus, given the widespread pandemic.

What would happen if they dead the leagues now? Would it have to be made up or what. In terms of football I don’t even know what would happen if they dead the season.

It won't be unfortunately, epidemiologists don't expect a peak until the summer months and even then it will take ages to get back to normality. The way things are progressing, we'll be lucky to play next season in August.

Uncertain, but probably a voided season, so all results cancelled as if they never took place.

I might of been wrong on this...

Wait so hypothetically lets say next week they decide to end the season...Liverpool are not champions anymore? I use them as an example because they are 2 games away from being officially crowned... this is all confusing

Of course they are not. If they had the points, then maybe? But if not - tough luck. They could theoretically lose every match from now on.

I really wouldn't be surprised if the PL play enough games behind closed doors for Pool to get their trophy.
