Not sure we have had on this for a while. Who are some of the best crossers of all-time?

First few who come to mind are Beckham, Kaltz and Brehme, after that though my mind has gone a bit blank.

Piracy on the High Seas.
Luís Figo, Francisco Arce, Míchel and Dragan Dzajić were pretty good — precise technique and consistently dangerous landing spots. Ljubinko Drulović and Nolberto Solano for the slightly underappreciated lot. Quite a few noteworthy crossers in recent years at the fullback back position, too: Kimmich, Alexander-Arnold, Alves, Baines, Lahm.

Becks, the best I’ve ever seen as an out and out crosser of the ball.

The accuracy from distance was incredible and in my opinion it’s not physically possible to be much more accurate than he was.

It was incredible sight, his technique was impeccable and one of the most recognisable in the game.

Leaning to the left, left arm outstretched and a sweeping right foot all in one majestic movement. It was a thing of beauty, a perfected technique.

Only one name in my head for this one. Yes there other fantastic exponents but I can't see anyone beating Becks.

Can you think of any on the left-side? All I could think of was Brehme.

Zoltán Czibor, Dragan Dzajić, Ljubinko Drulović, Christian Ziege, Leovegildo Júnior and Kevin Sheedy, off the top of my head. Obviously not comparable to someone like Beckham in terms of machine-like efficiency but from what I've seen, they had a knack for delivering menacing crosses from the left side.

David Beckham. A crossing savant. He could do it at a full stop or while running, or almost sprinting which is very, very, very difficult.

Beckham was arguably the best and Darren Anderson were pretty decent, Figo also had a great cross on him.

He was criticised a lot for this when he was younger but look at Giggs in his final ten years and I think his crossing was outstanding. There was a massive improvement and I think he deserves at least a mention.

Becks is the obvious answer from a United perspective.

Gerrard and De Bruyne are amazing crossers from our biggest rivals.

De Bruyne has sweet cross on him. You don't see it as much because he plays mostly in the central areas. When he is out wide he puts great crosses especially the low hard ones

It's funny how the best crossers seemed to play in teams/eras that usually played two strikers up front, and midfielders also bombing into the box.

Beckham. I have never seen one better than him yet. His crossing can win you games.

It remains my sole purpose on this forum to mention Sebastian Deisler in Threads like this one.

Beckham, followed by Laurent Robert

I also rate D.Costa highly in his prime at Bayern, his left footed cross with pace from the right wing was a real threat to the opposition box.

Dani Alves was also a great crosser its just that he spent his career playing with midgets

Early 80's Spurs winger Tony Galvin was an excellent crosser of the ball. No speed but always managed to find space to bend it around the full back.

Agreed. Very good crosser but didn't really have the opportunity to show that at Barca.

If you look at the suggestions people have as an alternative to Becks you will see just how far ahead he is of all those.

Nobody really comes close to prime Becks crossing ability.

Nobody's getting close to Becks. So left footers, Di Maria's were actually great, Kolarov.

David Beckham. The curl, bend, pace , into the right area for the strikers to attack. Plus his shooting/crossing style just make it look so elegant.

I remember watching a re-run of the 68 final and Aston was pretty good too.

But then again I maybe way off the mark

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
Honestly I haven't seen anybody even remotely close to Beckham in my time watching football. Off the top of my head I can't think of any other attribute in football where one player is so clearly ahead of anybody else as what Becks was with his crossing.
