We're probably surprised that he's chosen them because of guarantees over playing time, whilst we've probably offered the same, if not more. There's probably other circumstances that have swung it in Dortmunds favour though, not just playing time.

like the fact they’ve offered him more money and it’s a much easier league to stand out in. He’ll also be starting major champions league games asap. It’s a pretty easy choice considering all of the above. We can only really hope Dortmund balk at the fee at this stage because it sounds like they’ve got this in the bag otherwise.
United are surprised that the German media is reporting that the player will choose Dortmund due to more game time being promised.
If a boy like him want other club over UTD let him be. We already did enough to bring this boy and no need to bend over our back
It seems like his father is the one that likes the Dortmund route rather than Jude Bellingham.

We have Bruno, Pogba, Fred, Matic, McTominay fighting for starting spots, with also Mata, Pereira, Garner and Lingard as squad options.
Dortmund has Emre Can, Witsel, Brandt, Delaney, Dahoud and Gio Reyna.
I think its obvious he can get more playing time in Dortmund than here.
Matic and Mata should be gone in the summer regardless. Pereira and Lingard would surely be sold to make room for players like Bellingham. So thats 4 players for 2 DM spots and 1 AM spot. Bellingham has also played on the left for a bunch of games so playing wide is an option.
Thats a big if, in order to get Bellingham above in the pecking order 4 players shoule be moved on?
Regarding the left side, I dont think its his position at all, and even then its nailed for Rashford.
They should be moved on if we aim to improve our midfield at all. Bellingham is just one of a bunch of names who might do that
Rashford for the left for sure, but he could get gametime on the right or as a backup on the left

No reason to find a picture of him with his dad and younger brother or probably 100’s of other photos that I’m sure he has. His dad also played low level football, he could get one of those photos. I’ve just googled Mark Bellingham and found dozens of photos more suited to posting with a Father’s Day message than one of him driving out of Carrington smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Also worth pointing out his dad is United fan iirc.

It’s definitely a trolling pic. Glass half empty Loads of players mess us around in the press before moving elsewhere for extra publicity and leverage. Positive spin he’s used his family happy coming out of Carrington. Why wouldn’t they be happy? They got to meet Fergie and It was the day they knew they’d be set up for life either way. I think Jude and his dad are united fans so I wouldn’t take the Instagram follows to mean much anymore. Everyone is on there.

Guess his dad is either not much of a smiler or someone who is very hard to please then if that’s the only one that he has of him smiling from ear to ear.
I have too much time on my hands! Honestly I think I’ve just been too invested in past transfers that never happen to get into these little clues players leave online about us. Most of the time it means nothing. That’s all I was saying. I love the club and hope we sign Bellingham. I’m a happy supporter either way.

I’m sure he’s got hundreds of photos of him with his Dad or with his family so it’s very odd to use that photo unless he’s either completely trolling us or there’s something genuinely in it, a future Bellingham/Garner/Mejbri midfield trio could be outrageous.
Maybe Dortmund demand a clear run in order for us to sign Sancho ?
We will probably see it at some point in the u23 side next season.
