See You Again - Wiz Khalifa

An overplayed, cringe song that looks to cash in on the death of Paul Walker.

Never heard that song in the OP. Having said that, haven't kept up with much modern music for about 10 years. I can't think of any one song in particular but the ones that I switch off when they come on the radio are:-

1. Anything by female pop singers who get a bit shouty on uptempo songs, so countless Katy Perry and Lady Gaga songs.
2. Any male singers whose voices are a bit effeminate and whose lyrics are about how beautiful they think some girl is. I don't even hang around long enough to keep listening and find out who they are. I guess the song in the OP is an example. Couldn't give you any other names.

It's possible I've covered quite a lot of modern pop music there.

Can I delete a whole album? If Discovery by Daft Punk is wiped from history, the 21st century obsession with shite 80s pop might never happen. Not that the album itself doesn't have its charms but like 808s and Heartbreak and the onslaught of shitty auto-tune it inspired, sometimes you've got to stop the horror at the source.

Like time travelling to topple a 20th century despot, only with music.

You should be deleted
 I don’t think I’ve ever been threatened with deletion!

Feck that, I had MTV in my bedroom all those years ago when this was out. I heard it every single morning and had the annoying squirt lead singer bouncing around every day. Annoying as feck and it gives me the rage every time I hear it.

Neither new nor radical ... utter shite of the very brownest order.

I love the Beatles but some of Paul's hits really annoy me. Yellow submarine in particular (shudders).

Ringo sings that one.

That said, I'd consider voting for McCartney's Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey.

Paul wrote it though (I think it was his 100% with no contribution from Lennon but i might be wrong).

In fairness, Lennon did Revolution number 9 but that wasn't really meant to be a hit....or indeed liked by anyone I think :D

Paul's baby, apparently. His idea, his chorus but Lennon and even Donovan contributed to the lyrics and it was written specifically for Ringo to sing.

This needed to be repeatedly beaten to death, but somehow people loved it back in a day. It's also profanation of Harold Faltermeyer's classic synth track.

Paul McCartney’s solo songs, except Live and Let Die. Anything by Celine Dion.

I don't need to hear Simply the Best again. One of those songs that radio stations have run into the ground.
