Under a tree.
I am probably speaking too soon and they will get a dodgy 94 minute penalty, but seeing Liverpool like this, its like all their magic dust of general luck and second balls always going for them have gone. We are seeing them for what they are, a good decent team, but nothing really special that have some how placed themselves in the conversation to be talked about among the greatest teams ever....

Liverpool players must have celebrated like crazy! Villa are in terrible form and they actually have decent chance to win this.

To be fair they have absolutely nothing to plat for, hence are performing under their normal level, and they are playing against a team who are fighting for their lives, hence performing above their normal level. On another day theyd spank these 5-0.

I dunno about that, Liverpool perform like this in the majority of their games. It's one of life's great mystery's as t how the won the league.

Good move that, one of the few they've put together today. The last five minutes or so I think Villa have struggled to keep the ball and move it through dangerous areas. Liverpool haven't been great today but they've hung in, rode the pressure and got their reward.

Drinks break completely killed Villa being on the front foot. Nice goal though.

Christ, Salah is pathetic - but as long as the referees don't punish him for diving then he may as well keep doing it.

Why is this cnut even diving today? They have already won the league. Maybe cheating is so instilled in his game that it’s instinctive for him.

They weren't dismissive of it. They just got beaten by Chelsea.
They definitely were. They had minamino and origi start as attackers and had two young players in jones and neco Williams in rb. He didn't even bother to bring salah before 80th minute even when they were losing 2-0. The strange part is their next game was against Bournmouth at home. They could have easily afforded to rest players against Bournemouth as the league was all but done and dusted by then.

It sounds bitter but especially since Xmas I don't think Liverpool have played well more than a handful of times.

They play boring football, lots of deep crosses and long balls.

Great individual talent bails them out a lot.

Meh. Another undeserved lead after an hour of muckball from *.

How many times has that happened this season?
Too much, we need to be back at the top so that these players stop thinking they’re the best and they go back to play to their real level, instead of overperforming their xG.

What?! Sky sports told me they play swashbuckling “heavy metal” football!

Tbh that goal was good incisive football from TAA and Keita. But I agree with you, the rest of the season it’s mostly been hoofball and early crosses.

The best team in the league as of right now is between United and City. Liverpool aren't in the conversation.

They did when they were hipster’s choice, but they’ve moved away to more conservative football last season in a bid to catch City, which very nearly paid off. Makes for shite neutral viewing though.

You're not totally wrong! It's day and night the way they play when compared to Klopp's earlier Liverpool version and his best Dortmund teams.

I've always said that they are a more refined Leicester City on steroids, especially their central midfield. However, how they play is very very effective and fair play.

What are the Ole out people thoughts about Liverpool underperforming when they have 3 starters out of the line up today? Is it still a matter of system, coaching whatever without ever considering the players, the injuries etc? Or are they ready to give credit to Ole?
I am loving Ole but this is a very strange attempt to match these things up. Liverpool have won the title, for many of them their season is mentally over.

Villa are absolute gash.
We should stuff them next.
Anyone reading anything into Liverpool's form is clueless.
They are champions.
Nuff said.

The lack of defending by villa on that goal though, middle of the penalty area and totally unmarked. I'd hope Villa defend as poorly on Thursday

Well, that overly attacking type of play is the reason why Klopp wasn't able to beat Bayern in the league at their peak.

Klopp has matured at Liverpool, this version is not as great offensively as his Dortmund team but defensive they are certainly built much better. They built to win first and entertain second, it was the opposite at Dortmund.

How did these cnuts win the league?
Err what? They did not, it is all imaginary.

The real world is suffering from a deadly virus, and all the leagues have been stopped. Don’t let Illuminati fool you that Liverpool won the league.
