I hope Ole is relishing the prospect of his managerial career hinging on a single game knowing that it certainly didn't need to be this difficult.

Maybe that's not actually the case given how inept our board are, but he should still be treating it like it is.

Pathetic , same shit different year. We could yet limp over the line on Sunday. But this is a not team that can compete at the top level , just not nearly consistent enough , especially when the pressure is on.

And you don't get a special dispensation from the Premier league if you are tired so I don't know why we keep going on about it as if a valid excuse.

I am sure the vast majority of clubs who have not spent a fraction of the money we have on our squad are feeling sorry for how 'tired' we are.

5 subs available. 2 taken. When your team is so damn tired, make the most of the temporary 5 sub rule ffs.

And don’t make them so damn late.
We have absolutely no quality on the bench though. With the game at 1-1 who could we conceivably bring that wouldn't represent a massive drop in quality?

How refreshing to see people just excuse poor tactics and performance as just tiredness again :wenger:

That was fecking pathetic. Pogba is without a fecking doubt, the most overrated player in the world. Guy is a mediocre midfielder. He thinks he could do better than what United has been? feck, the way he's played for us, we should be looking to replace him, plain and simple. He's average who can do the random piece of good dribbling and that's it.
Embarrassing.

Can we all agree that Ole feked it on Sunday? If we miss CL qualification, that's why.

I would expect them to run more in a friendly. Pathetic performance.

If I played like this at this level, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Awaiting a "Not the result we wanted, we keep going on Sunday" tweet any time now. They should be heading straight to Carrington after the game and run till they vomit.

Disgusting.
The thing is...it is the result we wanted.

Not a good match. Our midfield was outworked and Pogba was once again outclassed by Mark fecking Noble. When our midfield isn't going, we are horrible. Matic took too many touches, Bruno couldn't get the ball our of his feet, and Pogba??? One to forget about. On the plus side, we are in 3rd and leicester now has to beat us to finish above us. That's the only plus though...Oh, and no howler from De Gea today so two positives...

Well thank Lord that we didn't lose. The whole team look utterly knackered. However they did fight. I'm happy with this draw. Pogba has a big thank to Greenwood.

I have seen piles of sh1t on the road that looked more appealing to the eye than this game did. The team is a mess all of a sudden. It's not like we got figured out or something. We can't connect basic passes...

That was just pathetic. Wouldn't have minded if we drew 2-2 having properly gone for it, instead of playing like we're some sort of mid table team with nothing left to play for.

And Pogba, he's brilliant when everything is rosy. After his mistake, he should have been going out in that second half giving 110% and trying to atone, he's got enough talent to do it, so it's time to start delivering, not when we're 2-0 up against Villa.

Rashford, shocking, Martial got no service. Fernandes looks shattered, and the trio of Matic, Lindelof and Maguire just aren't good enough to play out from the back.

AWB did well in the second half, about the only one that comes out with any credit. We miss Shaw badly.

This is what makes absolutely no sense to me. Fred would have been perfect for the last 20 mins or so. Ole's man management the last couple of games has been horrendous.

How costly will that awful penalty given away by Pogba be? 3rd for now and only need a draw in the final day of the season, i would have taken that back in Jan but the biggest concern is United are running on empty now and i'm not sure where the energy will come from on Sunday to grab a draw.

tumescent football and 2 draws in 3 games = Suddenly 3rd.

Weird game. Sunday is gonna be a nail biter.

Bad, bad feeling about this. The legs are gone, and we go to a Leicester who've also had more rest than us. We're lucky these last couple of league games haven't been against top teams. We'd have been battered black and blue. This is worse than squeaky bum time now. Thankfully there's a good rest period before EL really resumes, seeing as we don't need the big boys for LASK. In case it comes to that. And oh...Declan Rice really is a very good player.

Bruno comes back down to earth this last week and we look mediocre again, if that doesn't hammer home the point of more recruitment being needed I don't know what will.

Ole hardly looked at the bench either and I can't blame him, the lack of quality in the squad will always hold us back

Really worried that Leicester will have had a full week of rest and time to prepare for United on Sunday.

It might come down to Chelsea losing tonight and Wolves also beating them on the final day. This is so stressful.

West Ham played well. They don't have an ounce of the pressure that we do, so let's bear that in mind.

I don't particularly care how we play at this point. Obviously would have loved the win, but it is what it is. A loss would have been awful. We give ourselves some hope.

Shout out to young Greenwood for giving us the point.

We still have a lot of work to do, we just somehow need to find something to get that top four.

We are also knackered. I probably wouldn't start with Bruno next game. Let's have a solid set up and then he can come on after half time.

In any case, we had no hope in hell of being even within touching distance of top 4 before the break, so I'm not going to bitch. It's taken a toll obviously but let's see if the lads can find that last bit of energy for Leicester.

Unless Chelsea wants to do us a favour and lose their next two games :D

Ole has a vendetta against substitutions after being famed for being a great one... It all makes sense.

Did you not see Rashford walking around? He can have a poor game but he is not one to not put in a shift. Clear signs we are running on empty.
Sorry, I should have clarified. As in I didn't feel tiredness was to blame for today performance. Ole manages the squad and games, every opponent has had to deal with whT we have, we have also better team/squad than most we have played against.

To call it tiredness is diverting blame.

Even if we won today we would have still needed a draw or win vs Leicester ...

we look dead on our feet.
Yes correct in terms of leciester. BUT a win would have been big because we could have lost to Leciester and still qualified if Chelsea draw both games or lose tonight and draw against wolves.
A win would definitely have been better than a draw!

We looked exhausted.
Ole at fault for not changing things up after 60 mins.
Would have won 1-0 if not for an act of physical cowardice from one of our players.
Not hugely confident for Sunday now I have to admit........ how do we come back from that?

HELLO
9 matches in 29 days or something and it shows. Think that FA cup match might cost us top four. I dont know how we go up a gear on sunday.

Thankfully all we need is a single point against Leicester but given recent form I can't say I'm confident...

Shit performance, lucky to get a decent result. If we can’t even draw against Leicester on the final day, Ole out.

Awful performance compounded by a spineless, cowardly West Ham. Is the famous West Ham way with 11 players in your own half. An utter Moyes Master class of frustration, slow throw ins and half chances from nothing. What an utterly grubby team they are.

As for our lot. Why keep Bruno on when he is running himself into the ground. A perfect match for McTominay and Fred to overrun them in midfield. Pogba other than the pen was largely anonymous. Front three, other than the goal had lard for football boots.

Predictable from West Ham in that they clogged the middle with 10 men leaving acres of space for our fullbacks to operate in which they failed to take advantage of. People wanting a RW or a CB before getting at least one fullback that can contribute in attack is strange.
