Should move on from him now, get Coman on loan and go in for him next summer when his minimum fee release kicks in
Dortmund fans must be over the moon watching Lewandowski's success at Bayern.Thats what fans love. Increasing a players value tenfold.
Minimum fee?Should move on from him now, get Coman on loan and go in for him next summer when his minimum fee release kicks in
What minimum fee release?Should move on from him now, get Coman on loan and go in for him next summer when his minimum fee release kicks in
Most Bayern fans want an exciting league with exciting players. But we cannot play worse on purpose, so we want that our competitors get better. We already lost Werner, it looks like we're losing Havertz and Thiago and the only comparable player coming into the league is Sané. I want Sancho to stay at Dortmund. I want Dortmund to really challenge us for the title. Because our (international) development in the last ten years was also due to the fact that Hoeneß couldn't stand the fact, that Dortmund made us look like fools in 2011 and 2012.
If Dortmund manages to keep Haaland, Sancho, Reyna, Bellingham (and Moukoko) together for 3 or 4 years, they could not only win national titles but also be a dark horse contestor for the CL i think.
Also...i just can't hear the "Bayerns farmer league", "One horse race league" stuff around here and elsewhere regarding the Bundesliga anymore.
So yeah, i want Dortmund to keep their best players.
You would feel the same after 8 titles in a row
There is no such thing in his contract.Should move on from him now, get Coman on loan and go in for him next summer when his minimum fee release kicks in
Thing is, Sancho isn’t a future German star. I could understand if German talent was being lost in droves but the truth is BM would rather they stuck around so they could sign for them. Most Bayern fans want an exciting league with exciting players. He doubled his wages and if Covid wasn’t a thing then I don’t think clubs would balk at 120 mill this summer. No idea why the knobhead sign a contract extension in the first place.
There's a somewhat big difference between not being affected whatsoever and the effects being less demanding than for clubs that solely survive on matchday revenue.A club like United draws most of their income through commercial and broadcasting revenue. They would have been affected, of course, but to a considerably lesser extent compared to the smaller clubs who survive solely on matchday revenue simply to stay afloat.
Do you think we'd even be considering the quoted fee from Dortmund otherwise?
He's just a great player to watch, don't care about his passport. I certainly won't cry if he leaves, but won't complain if stays for another year either.Thing is, Sancho isn’t a future German star. I could understand if German talent was being lost in droves but the truth is BM would rather they stuck around so they could sign for them.
A lot of foreign players are happy to sign for PL clubs due to the better salaries
You should read my previous post, I’m not arguing about leading the table of delusion. However, it is strange to see so much unity and support among supporters of different BL clubs united against the evil PL represented by Utd.Yeah, it's the Bundesliga supporters who are irrational in this thread.
The way some posters are posting is just disrespecting. Not only towards BVB but also towards Bundesliga and German football in general. And since a lot of that stuff is just plain wrong, some of us feel like they have something to say about this. Why are Bayern fans sticking up for Dortmund? They should be glad we snatch Sancho away. It's like we would be happy if Madrid were in for De Bruyne and they wouldn't get him, or Barcelona for Salah.
If the deal was off the club would be all over the place saying they were never in for him or found some flaw in his game etc to save face.My God.. Sancho is staying in Dortmund, end of story.
Does Jesus has to come to Earth and say that to be 10000% confirmed?
20 year old kid making a ton on money in a city not far away from his country and is 1 of the best players in top 10-12 team in the world..
Yeah, i guess he is miserable
Maybe that has to do with United fans behaving like spoilt children who don't get what they want now that the deal seems to be off the table. This thread really gets the worst out of a whole bunch of posters right now.You should read my previous post, I’m not arguing about leading the table of delusion. Why dont you pay the 150m+ euros to buy him then?So Chelsea getting Havertz and it's looking like we won't get Sancho and have no real links to anyone else that will improve us.
Clear Chelsy are aiming to improve the question is now are we or we going to repeat José's summer after finishing second.
Sadly it could be the above.
Not disputing your overall point but Gotze was in the last decade, too.The way some posters are posting is just disrespecting. Not only towards BVB but also towards Bundesliga and German football in general. And since a lot of that stuff is just plain wrong, some of us feel like they have something to say about this.
Especially the "BVB is Bayerns feeder" myth over here is ridiculous. They sold 1 player to us over the last decade (Hummels, 1 year contract, we paid well).
They didn't even sell Lewandowski to us with only one year on his contract.
If they were our feeder, the likes of Dembele, Sancho and Haaland would play for us (soon). But i am sure none of them will.
No offence but dont come into a United forum being a white knight then so?Maybe that has to do with United fans behaving like spoilt children who don't get what they want now that the deal seems to be off the table. This thread really gets the worst out of a whole bunch of posters right now.
Some in here possess so little self reflection that they really think Dortmund should bend over and straight out throw 40m € out of the window in order to support United - and feel they're objectively right somehow.
So being a supporter of the team this forum is about should grant you the right to get away with everything? People talk bs and that gets pointed out.[

Its like the dickhead Utd fans who went on spammed Juventuz forum, of course emotions are going to be high.
How many groups of fans has this been who have jumped on here to set us straight this year? 4?
Whats the satisfaction behind it?
Woodward has developed a notorious reputation of trying to drive down a price tag by playing the long-game.
The United executive vice-chairman is using the stance in hope that Borussia Dortmund will lower their £108million valuation of Jadon Sancho. However, Dortmund are under no pressure to sell their prized winger and do not need to pander to the Red Devils' requests.
In contrast, Granovskaia is more clinical and decisive in the transfer market as seen in her early deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. The 45-year-old Russian, who is Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's most trusted aide, can use Woodward's tactic while dealing with Leverkusen.
I never said United would not feel the effects of Covid, rather that the effects would be minimal by comparison to the smaller clubs who are at risk of going under without matchday revenue to rely on. United have no worries in that department. That they are actively closing in on a mulitmillion pounds deal for Sancho as we speak is evidence of that. There's a somewhat big difference between not being affected whatsoever and the effects being less demanding than for clubs that solely survive on matchday revenue.
Not to mention the more obvious issues, like new sponsorship deals that are coming up,
What you said was this:I never said United would not feel the effects of Covid, rather that the effects would be minimal by comparison to the smaller clubs who are at risk of going under without matchday revenue to rely on. As for new sponsorship deals, we'll have to wait and see.
Which is very different to what you're now claiming you said. He's worth every penny and then some.
Also, the effects of Covid on a multibillion company like United would be minimal at best, barely a drop in the ocean. Dortmund will be very much aware of this.
Aaah... look closer. The water bottle malarkey again. Sneaky fecker. I bet Dortmund censored out the part when he drank from the bottle of water again. We all know what that means.
I guarantee you they would have had a similar tweet even without this saga. They have an active social media and they've just returned for pre-season. Ofcourse they post pics of their players. It's paranoia and sensitivity to think it's some kind of PR move against united.I think it's pretty clear that so far BVB have steamrolled us on the PR front.
Would you mind quoting some of these posts that have irked you so much?So being a supporter of the team this forum is about should grant you the right to get away with everything? People talk bs and that gets pointed out.
I didn't sign up for this forum because I wanted to set you straight. I joined because I liked the discussions in the football forum. It's only in recent months that many United supporters became straight out unbearable and if you read such irrational and disrespectful stuff, it just irks in your finger tips to correct them.
Exactly but I’d like to think we’ve got a bit more class than that, it’s all a bit “welcome to Manchester” but clubs like them have to get their kicks somehow, so crack on.Well considering Utd can hardly post stuff about another team's player, it wouldn't exactly be hard, would it?
Besides explaining in more detail, how is it different? What you said was this:
Which is very different to what you're now claiming you said.
No, its this need for rival fans to group together against big bad Redcafe to set us all straight. Its a waste of everybodys time. Its not even about Sancho. Everytime German football is questioned, or even a simple player link, the Bundesliga fans come running, ready to scrap. So being a supporter of the team this forum is about should grant you the right to get away with everything? People talk bs and that gets pointed out.

Think we are going to have the last laugh.I think it's pretty clear that so far BVB have steamrolled us on the PR front.
Sadly it looks to be the case. The club hasn't denied anything to the press regarding Sancho but I don't think Woodward wants to pay a large amount to actually improve the team. Top 4 is probably what he wants to keep making money. I was reading about the prize money from ucl this season and it seems that even getting eliminated from r16 earns you about 80m euro. There are lots of areas in our team where big money transfer is required to properly build a title challenging squad. So, if Sancho is unobtainable this season, you naturally expect him to go after other targets but so far we are linked with no body. Anyway, there is still time but the chances are slim.So Chelsea getting Havertz and it's looking like we won't get Sancho and have no real links to anyone else that will improve us.

It it were the case Simon Stone would have said so. Them and us are just waiting for Dortmund to get a replacement.Sadly it looks to be the case. Yes. But he was not technically sold by choice. It was a release clause, and BVB was really angry at the time and decided to not accept release clauses in contracts anymore (Haaland seems to be the first exception ever since). Not disputing your overall point but Gotze was in the last decade, too.
I could easily see Haaland replacing Lewadowski in a few yearsIf they were our feeder, the likes of Dembele, Sancho and Haaland would play for us (soon). But i am sure none of them will.
