Wow, just wow!

This smashes his infamous 'nuclear' explanation/rant that everyone loves to quote so often.

Pure fecking gibberish. Gobbledegook. Nonsense. The ramblings of a fecking lunatic.

I mean, sure it is funny that he's talking shite but he also ranted on again about patriotic education, left wing indoctrination and a swathe of other things you normally hear totalitarian rulers say before a nation turns fascist...so...

Fist time I've watched one of his rallies in about a year and I'd forgotten just how brain dead Trump is.

He can barely finish sentences.

If this rambling idiot gets re-elected, America is truly lost.

Actually, the fact that there’s a good chance that he does speaks volumes about the supposed leader of the free world.

If Biden loses, the three most powerful countries in the world will all have dictators or borderline dictators in charge.

most of you have no idea what a dictator is
Well, the US is obviously not a dictatorship and is unlikely to become one but the signs are definitely worrying. You have a US president openly saying that the only way he can lose is if the election is "rigged" as well as encouraging his supporters to try to vote twice. The situation in the US today is totally unprecedented.

On top of that he’s encouraging civil armies to grab their guns and police polling stations. Everyone knows exactly what this means, every single non-white voter can expect to be harassed and threatened at the polling station by rednecks with ARs. It’s fascism at its most raw.

Don't forget about 'joking' about how he deserves a third term, encouraging people to become 'poll watchers' and the increasingly fascist rhetoric (the comment about good genes in Minnesota being a recent example).

Trump is no dictator, but he clearly wants to be - and there is a significant share of population that are so entrenched in their position that they wouldn't blink if it happened.

when i was 12 Argentina's democratic goverment was overthrown by a military coup.
They forbade books, films, popular songs
they took people from the streets, houses and universities, to torture them and after they spilled their guts, put them on helicopters to throw them, drugged, to the river where they would die
victims ranged from 16 years old -kids whos only crime was to ask for a special bus fare for schoolers- to 80

but trump and johnson are dictators

cry me a river

Where did I say to not take it seriously? just because i think that calling Trump a dictator is absurd?
Statements like that take all seriousness to the word "dictatorship"

Ironically that overthrow was supported and sponsored by a republican US government and if Trump was the president then he would have fellated the then military junta. Trump moves like a dictator and speaks like a dictator, he may not look like a full blown dictator yet but that's because he's still in his chrysalis form. When you've seen dictatorial transformations in your lifetime its not to hard to anticipate or recognise another.

There is obviously a gradient along the western democracy to North Korean banana republic status, which is where the current situation not just in the US but in various EU countries is sliding along, some further down than the others. Of course you do not go from the world's second largest democracy to ringing alarm bells in one presidential term, if anything it speaks to the strength of the democracy being eroded along with the scale of erosion that we are even using these terms in the first place.

yes, the last dictatorship in argentina was sponsored by a republican goverment
the two military coups before that one were done with Kennedy and then Johnson
it was not a matter of what party was ruling, it had more to do with USA foreign policy in latin america

And Trump and his supporters would do all those things if given the chance. Don't give them that chance and don't downplay early signs of fascism because you "lived in worse".

Trump is insane enough that he might attempt another one because Melania promised to let him watch her and Trudeau if he can secure a lifetime supply of Malbec.

Haha comparing Putin with Trump and Johnson

Johnson? I’m talking about Putin and Xi Jinping, and they are dictators, imo, even if you experienced something worse in Argentina.

Johnson’s Mother Theresa compared to those three.

And no, Trump obviously isn’t a dictator yet, which is why I wrote borderline. But if he get’s second term, with nothing to lose, I can see him turning into one. He’s already well on his way to undermining the election and telling his supporters to moniter voting stations.
