If Woody delivers:

Telles, Van der Beek, Sancho and Cavani/Jovic
whilst off loading
Rojo, Smalling, Dalot, Pereira (and Sanchez)

all in one summer, does he become a hero?

Dembele has to be the most smokey of smokescreens? How are we launching a bid for Sancho, getting it rejected and moving straight on to Dembele. Has to be bobbins.

He’ll deserve another wet willy I reckon.

Aguilar is a reliable for Barca who works for MD. Are we about to sign Sancho and Dembele?
I imagine we’re doing what we did with Morata and Lusaka and keeping our fingers in both pies before we pull the trigger on one.

Won't be long till Sancho makes some noises in our direction, I can feel it, my senses are tingling.
He's missing the Super Cup and The Times are reporting his desires!! What do you think he's doing now?!

But yeah, a public declaration will be the final act, to give his higher ups at BVB the cover to accept the deal.

This isn't like going into the Fiat showroom and haggling with the customer service guy over a few hundred quid off and some carpets for a Bravo (absolutely top class car driven by utter studs, but not exactly top class). This is like buying a custom Maybach. You pay full price or you can piss off down to the Fiat garage to buy some shit Bravo.

If he had done so 2 months ago then yes. Leaving it until the last week of the window and distracting from the beginning of our league campaign means no.

Don't think we'll get him if that's their stance for that bid.
Its not what they want? They've said all along its €120m or no deal, so what did you expect them to say??

Do you honestly think they'd continue saying "hes not for sale" only to reject a bid and say "just a little more". To the media, hes not for sale. To United it'd be "ok were nearly there... not quite but nearly".

bah. You're a tough crowd to please!
No look, I'd obviously be delighted with those signings. My credit would go to Ole who is clearly putting the right lists forward and fixing what needs to be fixed.

The way we do business is wrong though, and needs to be reformed. Every summer can't be a circus.

Clowns. Dortmund never accepting an offer so late in the window as no replacement lined up no matter what Sancho does now. It’s simply a bid to save their faces in front of fans but it actually makes them look even more incompetent.
Yes, let’s just throw away money without even trying to negotiate.

The transfer window is open until the last day of the window, you don’t overpay so the selling club can find a replacement.

Borussia Dortmund are known for saying players are not for sale and then selling them, they are a selling club.

God forbid anyone not pay what Dortmund ask, apparently that’s a crime now.

Does anyone know what German media are now reporting? Are they still raising their eyes or laughing at us?

It’s really not about that...This is simply poor planning as this is already impacting our season. We should have moved on as soon as they refused to negotiate early on.

Just a while guess. But they are saying hes going nowhere and they love winding up the Utd fans. Sancho agreed his terms as said 5 thousand times before and fee is not 108 or 120m.

Typical Woody. One is a smoke screen. We had similar bids for other players when we were talking to Leicester and Palace.

I dont remember who was the player used as a smoke screen for Maguire but for AWB, it was Hysaj.
