Pretty simple question. We often lately use that phrase in posts; Ole fans, Martial fans, Pogba fans...so lets see how we stand.
And one note: if you want you can name manager, coaching staff, Ed, Glazers, tea lady (of course).

Personally i have 3 players who i like much more than others.
1) Martial (undisputed no1)
2) De gea
3) Pogba

Greenwood is on a good way to get on that list. Lindelof i like a lot but not enough to call him as my "favourite player".

Bruno by some distance, although I love Mata and Rashford for their off field exploits.

But its moreso routing for their success than it is idolizing them than I would for players back when we were quality.

This thread a bone of contention for several years for me. Reason why, is sad to say I really havent liked many of our players individually for some time. Can go back to when I first supported the club and loving the likes of Robson and Hughes all the way through to the last 6/7 years and have always been several players have loved in the side, even when not massively rated the side.

Now, my favourite player.......erm? I would have picked DeGea bar the near move to Madrid, but his form the last two years, no way can he be a favourite as he has been poor. Martial? 5th season here and he isnt a yougnster now, he has had one decent season and never looked to show love for the club either? Pogba? You must be having a laugh?????

Too early to say with Greenwood, but even personality wise who has shown tremendous effort and love for the club.......Mata stands out for me, but I never did or have sice he has been here thougtht he was the right fit.

I thought I would love Bissaka and he would be an huge player for us, though I think he has been overly criticised, he hasnt been awful for me like many say, but he has a hell of a lot to improve and not sure he will get anywhere near what I expected of him.

The one player, as others have mentioned stands out, is Fernandes....and not to sound like a half empty person (which I am haha), but you know the reason for that with me.....its his professionalism, calm head and that he absolutely works his butt off everygame and shows the desire to win. Because despite having very good ability, for me, the jury is still out over time whether he is a very good player with a tremendous attitude, or a great one. I think he played out of his skin the first few months and everything went right. You look at the last month or so of last season and this so far, take away the penalties which are still earnign him credit, I am not sure he can consistently reach the levels he did when he started here, not sure he is a great. I dont actually expect him too. Without disrespect to him, others with more ability that looked fantastic the first 8-10games here have failed.....Veron, DiMaria for example

But yes, Fernandes is the one player I really like in this side as his attitude is absolutely fantastic and he is also a good player

Greenwood/Bruno/Rashford - love them all.

And McTominay. I would play him every match if it was up to me.

Pogba, Martial, Greenwood, Rashford, Bruno. I have a soft spot for Fred. I also like some of the up and comers like Mejbri, Elanga and Mengi etc. So basically most of the squad! I actually have Mengi's name on the back of the new shirt I bought last week.

The only player who is fit to wear a United shirt is Mason Greenwood. He was born to play at Old Trafford.

How much did we pay for him again?

Mata - not for footballing reasons anymore, but probably the nicest/ most genuine footballer out there. Rashford is the great pretender, and his initiatives over lockdown have been outstanding.

After that, I am not bothered really....Not sure I would miss them....

I can’t comment on Van De Beek / Henderson obviously as I haven’t seen enough of them for United but hoping they will make it up there.....

Fred because he is the only one who fights for his team mates. If a United player gets fouled Fred is there to defend him.
Bailly to me is the most entertaining. You never know what he is going to do next.
