The full last season we ended third in the Premier League on equal competition with rest of the league so I'm not sure that point is as good as you want it to be.Its funny you want to take the record since January, why not the full last season? or only this one? or lets take the last 4 months. It seems we have to rate Ole only inlcuding the Bruno patch otherwise his numbers are not so great.
Well said. The full last season we ended third in the Premier League on equal competition with rest of the league so I'm not sure that point is as good as you want it to be.
I read it. You said he's been relatively ineffective after his first 10 games which is false. You didn't read what i wrote. You answered a question i didn't ask.
which coincided with the reintroduction of Pogba in the team. Pogba has been the weakest link since he came back. You can count the quality moments where he stood up and drove us forward on one hand. He’s messed up far more often than he’s helped us since lockdown. Not just a coincidence that our dip in general performances coincided with Fernandes drop of personal form.
Bit revisionist that when we were having discussions regarding whether we had the best midfields in Europe those first few games after his return and when him and Bruno were helping us play some beautiful stuff.which coincided with the reintroduction of Pogba in the team. But not when you look what what he's done overall since he signed.Bit revisionist that when we were having discussions regarding whether we had the best midfields in Europe those first few games after his return and when him and Bruno were helping us play some beautiful stuff.
The form of just about everyone, bar maybe Martial and Greenwood, all dipped and went up and down eventually towards the end of the season. Scapegoating a single player is wide off the mark in this context
As it has been debated over and over by Ole ins and Ole outs here that third place could have very easily been 5th. Lets not pretend we were confortable the third best team in the league, any way I highly doubt ending up with that few points will get us third anytime soon. My main point was with people comparing Ole with the top managers saying the classic "we are 1st place from January to today" bullshit argument. The full last season we ended third in the Premier League on equal competition with rest of the league so I'm not sure that point is as good as you want it to be.
That wasn't the point being made though was it?But not when you look what what he's done overall since he signed.
pogba and Bruno played their last decent game together against villa away I’m fairly sure. Brunos form has won us points and matches since then while carrying an underperforming Pogba. That’s all I’m saying. Bruno’s form this season has also been poor, I agree but I think putting a solid base behind him would protect our defenders more which is clearly needed when you look at the soft pressing and the sloppy goals we've shipped. We need to get back to basics and figure out whatever is happening behind the scenes. We need a montage!Bit revisionist that when we were having discussions regarding whether we had the best midfields in Europe those first few games after his return and when him and Bruno were helping us play some beautiful stuff.

To give more details on this, Duncan Castles is claiming he has been informed by sources close to the player that a row did in fact take place during the half time interval between Bruno Fernandes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He also claimed that the senior figures including Fernandes, have lost faith in the manager as they question his ability to truly be a top coach. Also Fernandes is annoyed at the club, he feels as if he was lied to and has been unimpressed by the clubs transfer activity during the summer window.Duncan Castles' is claiming that Bruno Fernandes has lost faith in the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Interesting.

The media taking him down? Proper tin hat stuff. He's better left in the job for the media. What in the world is going on with all these rumors? Sounds like the media is trying to take OGS down - or worse yet, someone in the club's management is preparing the grounds for his dismissal. I hope this is not the case.
Yeah, I listened. Him and McGarry are miserable cnuts though, who speak as though the whispers they hear are the unquestionable truth. It's insufferable. Furthermore they just confidently say Poch would just walk in an do a better job, which there is little evidence to suggest as it stands. To give more details on this, Duncan Castles is claiming he has been informed by sources close to the player that a row did in fact take place during the half time interval between Bruno Fernandes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. My thoughts exactly.I would prefer to hear about a bit of passion behind the scenes. Its not always gonna be sweetness and light. Bruno said as much, he'd have words on the pitch and then move on. Words were needed during and after that display.
This wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I can imagine a whole host of players feel the same post SAF.To give more details on this, Duncan Castles is claiming he has been informed by sources close to the player that a row did in fact take place during the half time interval between Bruno Fernandes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Castles is mourinhno's bitch. Worth noting this isn't limited to Bruno. Laurie Whitwell from Athletic is reporting that several players doubt Oles credentials as a top manager. To give more details on this, Duncan Castles is claiming he has been informed by sources close to the player that a row did in fact take place during the half time interval between Bruno Fernandes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. How does he know all this? I find it hard to believe. So Bruno feels he’s been lied to by the club and is unimpressed, apparently. If Bruno did feel this way, who would he divulge this information to? His wife? His best friend? I just find it difficult to understand how Duncan Castles would be the only person to know this. If he’d run his mouth on international duty then every reporter in Europe would run the story. The argument at half time probably happened, the rest is fabrication, in my opinion. To give more details on this, Duncan Castles is claiming he has been informed by sources close to the player that a row did in fact take place during the half time interval between Bruno Fernandes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. These under performing, overpaid players are the first that need to be booted out. It's frustrating every time we go through a bad patch we hear stories of the players questioning the manager. Don't get me wrong I love Ole but I'm not in the Ole firmly in camp as I question his credentials but the players attitudes do annoy me.Worth noting this isn't limited to Bruno. Bruno isn't really under performing, I mean even in sub-par general play he's ridiculously efficient. These under performing, overpaid players are the first that need to be booted out. Him and McGarry do this a lot. My guess is they get a small comment and extrapolate with their own opinions sprinkled in. They are quite well connected, but I don't see why anyone would want to talk to them about this shite when they immediately just put it straight on their podcast. How does he know all this? You didn't actually answer the question. His was "What was your expectation of last season?" As in what were you expecting BEFORE the season began?Better than 33 points off the top. Better than 3 semi final losses. Better performances that didn't rely solely on individual moments of brilliant or penalty kicks.
He has been ineffective relative to the impact of his first ten games.I read it. You said he's been relatively ineffective after his first 10 games which is false.
He was doing it, but like every new signing we buy, he's been playing like a shadow of himself really for a while now, why does every new signing we make do this?He has been ineffective relative to the impact of his first ten games.
My main point is that we can't let the players keep dictating to the manager. Jose sacked, Ole sacked.... it will be the next guy and then next guy etc. If the players run the show.
Bruno should remember his place, shut the feck up and do his talking on the pitch.
As explained, his goal involvement is unchanged relative to his first 10 games. He scored vs Brighton, Tottenham. Assisted Martial's pen win and Maguire's goal against Brighton, and direclty assisted Rashford's Brighton goal. He's still involved in most of our goals, which is actually unchanged from the initial games. Whilst general performances may have dipped, his "effectiveness" is broadly unchanged. He has been ineffective relative to the impact of his first ten games.

It happens because our squad is shit. I said in my first post that sacking managers is pointless when 80% of our squad is not good enough. He was doing it, but like every new signing we buy, he's been playing like a shadow of himself really for a while now, why does every new signing we make do this?
Our squad isn't shit. Maguire adds value in an organised defence, AWB was one of the best right backs in the league before he joined us, Rashford is a top player, Martial is a top player, Bruno is a top player. Now Ole will be able to have Telles at left back, who is also very good. Greenwood would walk into most top 6 sides right now.It happens because our squad is shit. I said in my first post that sacking managers is pointless when 80% of our squad is not good enough.
So, we accept rumours about him "not keeping his mouth shut" as close to the truth, but rumours discarding that and saying that he actually "kept his mouth shut" as lies ?According to...?
Who is this "...people close to the player..." and seriously how the hell do they know if Bruno kept his mouth shut.
Clickbait titled article.
Eh the upbeat and positive feeling was gone long before the season started, bit silly to pretend most were excited and feeling very good things for what was to come. Not sure many pictured us starting this horribly though.Let me just say again: It took a grand total of 3 league games with a 1-0-2 start to go from: Upbeat and positive to The world is sinking and everything is DOOMED.
3 games! 270 minutes of football to undo everything the team achieved in the season that ended 10 weeks ago. 270 minutes of football and a transfer window devoid of ambition from the club.
Fair point. I meant that most people who do not spend most of their waking moments complaining about the world around them were feeling positive about the season.Eh the upbeat and positive feeling was gone long before the season started, bit silly to pretend most were excited and feeling very good things for what was to come.
