I’m honestly a bit in chock, this was some performance.

Ole nailed the strategy and players and perfect subs.

DDG amazing tonight, my man of the match.

Defence facing worlds best offensive trio and it took an own goal for them to score. Tuanzebe amazing game. Lindeof also very good and best of them all was AWB imo. Axel, Lindeof and Shaw very good and calm with the ball.

A midfield that actually played football again.

Efficient counters, from the back line via midfield to attackers.

And a Rashford scoring a beautiful and important goal.

I’ve been a critic of Pogba, but he had a terrific impact in the match and showed his quality! No question he CAN play like this every week; the question for me is WILL he? I love being proved wrong
Don't know if he will. But he must do justice to the immense potential he displays in games like these. Maybe the left forward position will work out better for him.

Thought Danilo was one of the few highlights for PSG. Probably the only PSG player I'd give credit to tonight. Only one who looked at all switched on. Navas was good too i suppose.

good performance by MU but some people there are completely overestimating this performance against a completely shitouse psg team which missed many key players (and we know their bench is one of the worst among top teams).
Oh and let's talk about Mbappe, the most overrated player in the planet by a country mile: 1 goal in his 9 KO CL games with Paris and 3 goals in 13 big CL games with Paris (games against Liverpool, bayern, Napoli, Atalanta, Real Madrid and Dortmund).
And more than that, more mediocre performances than good ones and no truly mind blowing performance in those games (contrary to Neymar for example).
So it makes me laugh when some of you are over praising Tuanzebe's performance: to keep Mbappe quiet in a big CL game is actually something normal as the stats I posted show that.

actually, I would be psg or a paris fan, i would feel absolutely livid about having spent 180M for a guy performing like this in big CL games, absolutely livid.
And even more so when you know how much in trouble it putted psg with the financial fair play.
Rashford who has costed far far less to MU has performed (much) better in big CL games than Mbappe with psg, despite playing for far weaker teams than psg's Mbappe at least on paper.

PSG forum spent all pre match making fun of our squad calling names of our great players in the past... Well who had the last laugh.

dont delude yourself, while MU definitely deserved to win contrary to their last win in paris 2 years ago, the level of play in this game was crap at best with lot of comedy errors from both teams.
If MU dont improve their level, they will have an average season.
Paris tonight were not even a top 8 PL teams, let alone a recent CL finalist.

I am not Utd executed their plan and were very robust and difficult to play against. A very good team performance.

Because we literally had no pre season, mad that people don't realise that's the entire reason we started the season badly.
It really is. You'd think most football fans know that without a pre-season to increase fitness, sharpness, work on systems, you will struggle.

Pre seasons exist for a reason. We didn't have ours and predictably, it showed against teams who had hit their stride.

If you're a yard slower than your opponents, your touch is still off, your mind hasn't adjusted to games at full speed, and you're missing 5 yard passes, regardless of system/tactics, you'll struggle

Well that's what it's all about, eh? God I enjoyed that! I dare anyone to find a negative tonight. Everyone great, even Ole. Maybe especially Ole. You have to take your hat off to him. Everyone, including this place, ready to jump on a tactically clueless European debacle if things didn't go right tonight. He made a really bold team selection, no Pogba, Axel up against that forward line, Fred and McT in. We were superb.

Lots to think about going forward, isn't there? Wouldn't you love to see what Lindelof Tuanzebe looks like against Chelsea? Has Shaw ever looked as comfortable at left back as he did tonight as part of a 3? I want to see Telles again, Rashford in a 2 beside Martial, Pogba advanced on the left.. .I mean everything worked. Well done one and all.

Have to admit, Lindelof was very good leading that makeshift defence.

I don't want to dampen the mood but it has to be said that PSG were pretty poor tonight, especially in the 1st half.
We really should have beat them by 3 or 4.

It is a bit annoying that Fred isn't getting his due from the media and they are immediately going to their 'go to' option, which is lavish praise for De Gea, as if he were the only player on the pitch who had a good game and United were putting in a backs-to-the-wall performance. It seems like if our goalkeeper makes a save in a game then it is a stroke of good fortune for us.

It really annoys me that when the press have decided a United player is a flop that they never give them any credit, even when they truly deserve a clap on the back. This happened for a while with Park until they finally started to begrudgingly give him credit about three seasons into his time at United.

I haven't always been a fan but Fred has had his moments in a United shirt and he may just become a mainstay of our midfield yet. His engine is almost on the level of a Roy Keane or Michael Essien and his pace running with the ball gives us a different dimension.

I think I'd have Fred as my man of the match. Immense tonight. When is the last time you've had 8 or 9 to choose from for moment?

Eventhough we can't get carried away with Tuanzebe after one game. Has Ole boxed himself in by giving the armband to Maguire? Can't drop your club captain.

Enjoyable evening watching the game. Martial still lacking some sharpness, but is it really good tactics to have him defend corners from the near post?

Yes, think they all did a great job tonight. It’s hard to understand the transition from the poor PL games to this performance in such a short time.

So maybe Lindelof is not the problem. Then ...

Can't blame just one player for bad performances. It's a team and the rest should make up for that shit player. United is a puzzle though...we'll do exceptionally well against a big team then lose to a not so big team

We were the better side, fully deserving of victory, but it could have easily been a defeat.

PSG also had their chances, which Dave brilliantly manned up to. Navas was inches off his line.

So much to praise in this outstanding team performance but Fred and Dave stood out for me. Martial was a disappointment but he did earn a pk.

Can we use the word “revelation” for Telles? Wow, what a find.

Of course, you're right. Maybe because our defenders suit the low block system, where they don't need to push higher to halfway line, like when against "smaller" teams. (I know that no small teams in PL).

1. This is what I was saying all summer long when people were talking about our defence. We have Tuanzebe and Mengi coming through, plus we already have Maguire. There are not many teams with better options if you actually watch the games. Why pay 80m for a defender when you can develop one or two with that potential. It was about patience, which our fans have not had.

2. Telles coming in was a massive coup. He is a good footballer and you could see it throughout the game with his touches. He and Bruno constantly had good touches throughout the game. When we had ashley young playing there, we would constantly lose the ball on the channels, same with williams and shaw too. Add that to his crossing then we really have something moving forward. Better still, it will lead to AWB being able to have less pressure on him offensively.

3. AWB shows his quality. We have one of the top, if not the best defensive full back in football at the moment, who does have shortcomings in attack, but not enough to make him not functional there. With a player of his skill, we should be focusing on creating an environment that allows him to express his defensive skills. Hopefully with Telles coming in, we have the balance to play him deeper.

4. Bruno is quality. People like to talk about how loose his passing can be, but that is because he is creative and has flair. It's his job to take those risks. His touches are usually fantastic ( as it was tonight) and that mixed with his risk taking allowed him to create chance after chance tonight.

5. Our forward line is not as perfect as our fans want to believe. A lot of wasted opportunites that did not even end up in shots due to indecisiveness. I don't believe both Rashford and Martial will be starting for us a year or two from now, I believe it is an either or situation. Greenwood will. If he had those opportunites tonight, he would have buried them. Even in regard to this season, it would not shock me if Cavani took the main striker role if he comes back fit.

6. Pogba is in trouble. I initially believed him sitting out the game on the weekend was for this game, but he's been dropped. Hopefully VDB can show the defensive energy needed to start alongside Mctominay or Fred. He is the only centre midfielder outside of Pogba that has the forward passing ability. I honestly believe we would have torn PSG apart if either Fred or Mctominay could find the line breaking pass.

Shocking. Three points in Paris and a huge step towards the Round of 16. Who would have thought it two weeks ago after the 1-6?

Pure Ole era. Unpredictable. But I think we are going somewhere in terms of fitness, consistency and belief.

PSG remain a rich sick man. Rich, but sick. In bed.

A great performance from start to finish.
Massive cred to Ole,the line up,subs and tactics was spot on.

Cant believe we kept Neymar,Mbappe and Di Maria mostly quiet throughout, our defence and De Gea were brilliant, they should be very proud of that.

Rashfords goal was class,a great shot and a worthy winner.

First team to beat them at home in the Champions League group stages for 16 years, pretty impressive when they have probably faced some quality teams in that time.

I agree, there are so many to choose from. Just a great match from the lads and Ole got the tactics perfectly right. I thought he Ole wasn't a good tactical manager though according to so many here.

Top performance. Team work was outstanding. I said this so many times, but those first few game, with zero preseason, were not a barometer of anything at all. Back to playing like we were for the second half of last season. I'm really wondering when people are going to give ole his credit. He's shown tactical astuteness, been bold in his team selection, and keeps giving opportunities to our academy graduates. We are playing attacking, exciting football. Just so much progress. And he is one of our own. I am a big Ole supporter.

Fantastic result from us today. I did not expect us to dominate in that manner. I feel like 2-1 flattered PSG, could have scored more than 2.

Every player played very well, it was a complete performance. We had a rough start to the second half, but that was expected given PSG was going to start the half chasing the game.

You can say that PSG weren't very good, but they had players like Neymar and Mbappe who can flip a match on their head at any given moment, but were nullified throughout the match.

Giving the MOTM to Axel, but it can be anyone on the pitch tbh.

The system was the problem which is why we had to change it up, Maguire will probably look just as good when we re-introduce him to the team well. Fred and McTominay make a world of difference defensively compared to Matic and Pogba who were statues in our earlier games.

To be fair, I don't think they played much worse than what they served up in the CL at the end of last season. They had periods where they played slick football but large parts of the match where they didn't necessarily threaten the opposition.
