New match tomorrow - against the winners of League 2 from last season. But while United have turned things around after a poor start, it's been an awful season for West Ham so far with 2 points from 8 games. Against Leicester on Monday, they played 11 against 10 for 80 minutes and still lost by 2-1. And this is interesting

Leicester scored the winner in the 87th minute
Liverpool scored 4-2 in the 93 minute
Brighton scored the winner in the 87th minute
Southamton equalized in the 88th minute
Tottenham scored 2-0 in the 87th minute, and 3-0 in the 89th minute
Chelsea scored the winner in the 76th minute

Possible West-Ham line-up
Joseph Anang (20) - Mbule Emmanuel (19), Goncalo Cardoso (20), Jamal Baptiste (17), Bernardo Rosa (20) - Conor Coventry (20), Alfie Lewis (21) - Kai Corbett (18), Kamarai Simon-Swyers (17), Daniel Chesters (18)- Oladapo Afolayan (22)

If I remember correctly, their central midfielder Alfie Lewis stood out to me the most last season. I'm surprised he's not out on loan.

They had a strong side - but they also had a very experienced side last year.

Up front they had Anthony Scully (now Lincoln) 21, Daniel Kemp (now Blackpool on loan) 21 and Nathan Holland who is now 22

in midfield they had Joe Powell (now Burton) 22, Alfie Lewis 21 and Conor Coventry 20

So everyone in midfield and attack were 19 or older in that game

This is going to be an ugly fixture as Moss is going to award fouls left and right every few minutes to catch his breath and will break up the tempo of the game. He is nearly 50 and usually in horrible fitness. Time to retire maybe?

The lesser spotted Ethan Laird appears from the wild.
Really strong team on paper. Due to my work schedule I won’t be able to watch this tonight, is there a replay on at any point or will I have to settle for the extended highlights?

Very strong side from us today. Great to see Laird back.

Shocking tackle on Laird, seems to be opposition players get a free run on our lads.

All Utd first 20 minutes. Unlucky to not be leading.

Elanga gone close, a few balls whipped in across the face of goal well defended or not quite finding a man

Pellistri's been terrific.

Ball crossed into the middle, Mejbri's shot blocked, falls to Elanga who is saved. Ball eventually works it's way to Puigmal on the edge of the box who dances past 2 men and blasts over the bar. Should have scored.

30 minutes in United the better side

United's kids just look sharper and stronger than West Ham's

might regret not taking the couple of decent opportunities? we'll see

need to keep it up and hope West Ham dont wake up..

0-0

Laird needs to be careful kicking the ball away.

1-0 West Ham.

Woolston comes out to challenge the attacker who slips the ball to his left, Fish outstretched and turns the ball into the net. Attacker was on his shoulder

Shoretire does absolutely brilliant, but shows his inexperience there.

Saw from about the 25 minute mark.

The games I've seen so far I'm struggling to find Fernandez' strength. Doesn't look solid defensively and doesn't look particularly strong on the ball either.

Was a nice run from Shoretire with quick feet, but he wanted to walk the ball in

Fernandez is good on the ball, a good passer and crosser. Scored 2 goals from LB already.

Elanga is rapid, but as long as you keep him on the outside he can't do much.
