With the legitimacy of his Italian residency in question, his lack of international games, and new Brexit rules set to come into effect, there's a chance that we feck this up
Wow what's going on here? What passport does he have currently? Ivorian only?

Fred should play since he can't play in the CL. Lindelof should be rested. I think AWB or Telles, one of the two has to be rested as well. Martial Greenwood to try to get form and a goal is a good idea. Not sure for Pogba and VdB but I guess the idea is to rest Bruno? Rashford needs to be rested, we probably need Cavani or James then.

Don't think Ole will rotate much for this. Rashford carrying a shoulder niggle put will probably still feature.

    De Gea/Henderson
    Bissaka - Lindelof - Maguire - Telles
    Fred - Mctominay
    Bruno
    Rashford/Greenwood - Cavani - Martial

This has a loss written all over it. They'll bully us and score some set pieces/crap goals. We'll be "tired" from Wednesday and that will be that. Almost don't want to watch it.

How did it go with Cavani and FA, is he suspended or not?

Bruno, Rashford, Cavani to win the game.

I know we lost 3-1 but I’m really starting to believe in our back 4 (prefer shaw).

Midweek is more important and we have to trust our players.

This is one of those games we need to win to show progress and consistency. Come on United. You can do it!

The last time we've played well against them was Lukaku's 1st game, every game since then has been torture.

Might be a good opportunity to give Bruno a day off. RBL and City next week.

    No Bruno, no victory.

It's that simple, he's the heartbeat of the team and this is a tough fixture which is 50/50.

We've won a record amount of away fixtures on the bounce, law of average says we will come unstuck somewhere down the line. Fingers crossed it's not today but I see this as a huge banana skin in our pursuit of the top four.

As for the RBL and City games, if the players can't get up for those games then we don't deserve top four anyhow.

They'll have a field day in the various Ole threads if we lost to a team managed by David Moyse, and that is unaccepable.

    Win at all cost please.

We'll create chances and we'll play some good offensive football, which is probably the main take away from Ole's time here as we can play some good football, but will we take advantage of it ? our strikers are out of form and our conversation rate isn't exactly great reading either.

I think we can get a win here but the team needs to be on their game and not be so annoyingly naïve at times, like we were in midweek.

Its not about being up for the game. Its about our best players being in peak condition, and we simply can't ask Bruno to play 60 games this season

Need some rotation since we need to go full strength against Leipzig.

    .........................Henderson
    Williams...Tuanzebe..Maguire...Telles
    ......................Fred........Matic
    .....Mason..........Pogba........Martial
    ..........................Cavani

Mason & Martial need to play to try and get in amongst the goals,

Last season at least was Moyes, surely?
Yeah the 1-1 at Old Trafford was but Pellegrini was still there when you lost 2-0 away.

Thing with Moyes is I just don't think he has enough about him to go all out and win these types of games on regular basis. Didn't happen at Everton where they hardly won at top 6 team in all his time in charge.

If you offered him a point now he'd take it and I think he'll set up in restrictive manner today.

I agree but Ole will never bench the man that is singlehandedly keeping him in a job.

One thing for sure. Moysie will be on the touchline in the technical area screaming at his players while Ole sits calmly like a Yogi

Why do people have such a thing for managers on the side-line screaming ?

Yet Moysie is a terrible manager

Comes all the way down to kids football, they want the manager to be showing "Passion". Doesnt matter about tactics, man-management, growth, or anything else. As long as the manager is on the side line showing passion.

That luck has got to run out eventually. Bruno can't keep bailing him out forever. I'll take losing the battle to win the war any day of the week.
IMO Bruno is the best No.10 on the planet. With this in mind, I think he can keep bailing Ole out of trouble and keep him in a job.
If Bruno gets injured...I think Ole will be gone a few weeks later.
I don't think I've ever seen a MUFC team, who is so heavily reliant on a single player before.
Put simply, if Bruno has a bad/anonymous game, we lose. We can't even get a draw.

The BBC are running an article on the last game at the Boleyn. How is that in any way relevant to this game?
Here's to smashing 4 past them just because of that.
    I remember that last match.
The one over-riding memory was that before that match, I'd never heard of their ground being called the Boleyn ground. Ever.
I can't remember what it is actually called, but it definitely wasn't Boleyn.

It's nigh on impossible to predict what United team will show up so why even bother speculating!
    So true.
    We have no consistency.

Think it might be wise to freshen up the team a little. Rashford needs a rest, Bruno could probably do with one. Fred should play as he's suspended midweek.

I think maybe something like this:

    Henderson
    Williams Lindelof Maguire Telles
    Matic Fred
    Mata Pogba Martial
    Greenwood

AWB might start, but with RB Leipzig and City coming in the next week, I think we'll need him fresh. Cavani also we need fresh and ready for a big CL match. Van De Beek could also slot in there, and Shaw if he's recovered could replace Telles. Think we should keep Lindelof and Maguire playing every game unless injury, our backline is brittle as it is.

Upton Park, it was actually the Boleyn, but it was in Upton Park and literally no one called it the Boleyn!
