Wolves were horrible. Our passing at times was awful, and there was too much faffing about around the edge of the box, but sod it, Rashford's a legend, we're closing in on the top of the league, and 2020 is nearly over!

Wolves are boring twats but even more so today considering they had a 48 hour turnaround time and a raft of injuries. 2nd, 2 points off of Liverpool, take that.

Wolves defended in numbers and made things really difficult for us. We grind a win....stuff of champions dare I say.

For 94 minutes it was a low urgency low energy frustrating performance where we could have no complaints if it was a draw. But results are what matter and if you can't be good ,then be lucky and lucky we were.

So it was a good night overall.

But I really hope our desire levels go up a notch , a chance to go 2 pts off the top and we looked nonplussed for most of the game.

That will do! Pretty uninspired performance but these points over the festive period could be huge come the end of the season.

I said before the match we would have to win dirty if we were to win.

Very poor performance overall, but delighted all the same.

Oh my god. Was so frustrated with the game as i expected more from our squad. Far more rest then them and with Jimenez their best player and main striker is injured. But i guess i can still sleep good today with this incredible shit goal. I hate these games against the Wolves.

Thought our defence dealt really good with their quick players. So i am very happy with our defensive performance and the result.

Wolves have maintained this myth of being a good team to watch. They grind out results but they are so boring. Such a boring, negative team.

Wolves are a team pushing for the Europa League, they are a good side and they played absolute anti football. Sat deep and played for the draw. They had an extra days rest than us and it showed, but the lads persevered and got a good win. COME ON!!

The state of so many posters here. No team in the history of football has ever won shit without at least 6 or 7 games like that a season.

For 2 years Liverpool have dug out rotten wins when they've played poorly only for this forum to melt down in collective masturbation about 'character' and klopp making his players believe.

Ram packed schedule, no fans, one of the best organised teams in league with historically low scoring games against them, peak fergie would have given his left nut for any win in this circumstance.

What are we on, 23 from 27? Be proud of the team you supposedly support. Revel in the fecking joy of a late winner against a side who did everything to ruin that game as a spectacle.

This side can't win in most people's eyes and to be honest I love it the way I love rival fans bitter salty tears.

Drink them in

Winning games undeserved is the stuff of champions.

I would take this any day rather than a 5-4 loss or a 5-5 draw.

Gosh I hate these Wolves feckers! We just can't seem to get on top of them. Worst team to face when we're not quite on our game. How sweet was that late winner eh? Deflected in by maybe the man of the match after screwing us over all game. Come on United! 3 great points. On to the next...
yeah, I think their coach is pretty good at tactics and setting up defensively. Note how they were leaving spaces behind for show to go to byline.knowing he wouldnt go there.

If the Scousers had done that it would have ruined my entire week

What to say, other than that was a very poor lacklustre display papered over magnificently by a lucky goal. I'm not saying we're on the title march as I just don't believe we have the quality, but we got many of those kind of wins on the way to trophies under Fergie so in that respect it's very pleasing. You can accept the occasional dire display when it ends with a moment like that and three points in the bag.

Elsewhere I thought Bailly did well. He was hardly rushed off his feet but it was a good disciplined display from him.

Only our back line played well. Bailly excellent. Should get a run in the side so Lindelof can heal properly. Hopefully we put in a better performance against Villa. I wouldn't mind another scrappy 3 points though.

Sometimes you got to win like this and not lose these games. Great win at the end, but you got to sometimes just attack and push forward. That pass by Ferandes to Rushford... Yeah! Pass more like that, shoot sometime and home for lucky deflection. Not every goal needs to be created. We played ok considering how closed Wolves were. Win is a win! At the end of the season noone is going to count pretty wins against the ugly wins. This wasn't even that ugly.

Shaw made a huge difference when he came on. Hope more people will begin to recognise his importance to this team. Such an excellent player.

Result is the only thing that matters. Hope the players get a decent rest before the Villa game.

Any 3 points against Wolves is a good 3 points. We werent great but they're such a tough team to play against. Winning is a habit.
