Well as Michael Owen once said, " "When they don't score, they hardly ever win"Well if you don't score, the goals do indeed look nonexistent

Yes, that is how invisibility works.Liverpool will still win the title but it's nice to see they're not as invisible .

Didn't they do that in the last minute against the Geordies ?Why did Liverpool take a short corner there?

They looked pretty invisible to me.Liverpool will still win the title but it's nice to see they're not as invisible .
Not unless they go to school
Aspas vs Chelsea was the greatest corner of all timeDidn't they do that in the last minute against the Geordies ?

Crazy season indeed, it may well be a crazy title win this year, but we need to stay consistent and just hope they continue their poor form. They looked pretty invisible to me.
Their form last couple of months have been pretty crap tbh. Win against Spurs + the Palace demolition made them look better than they are, draws against Brighton, Fulham, West Brom, Newcastle and now loss against Soton. That’s nowhere near title winning form. I said before the Leicester game that we could be top of the league with a game in hand before playing them if we managed to get 9/9 but people didn’t even entertain that notion.
Yes, that is how invisibility works.
And Southampton in tier 4He was in tears,Ralph in tears. Southampton are a very emotional team
cnut should have seen redHow did Thiago play?
I hope their defence is invisible against usLiverpool will still win the title but it's nice to see they're not as invisible .
Its the same team that had Kuyt.. and yes.. he did score a hattrick against usFirmino gets away with being invisible far too much. Imagine having a striker who literally does nothing week after week.
Fair enough he'll score a hatty against us, be apart from that, he's not up to much.
I suppose they'll just keep going on about the 9-0 then!If we lose 10-0 then people might stop going on about the 9-0 against Leicester!
And Owen actually made a good point. Defence can actually affect how a team approach a game. With a solid defense most managers wouldn't look or feel the need to play with 2 sitting midfielders like we're currently doing which then affect how we attack.Plenty on here blamed our shite defence on our attack being poor before.
Yes and thatAnd the lad that went off injured was running the show

Nobody choosing to shoot enough at goal. Too many players looking for that splitting or lobbed over pass but it's not creative enough, just sideways and repetitive and it's against teams now with their backs to goal becoming harder to break through. They have learned how to sustain our attacking intent throughout the game and gradually we lose that impoteus when the goal doesn't come. Forwards are horribly out of form too and can't do the basics like controlling or choosing when to shoot the ball.Liverpool with one shot on target over 90 minutes! Was similar against West Brom too.

A balanced and fair response, and no mention of refereeing conspiracies either. Good stuff.Nobody choosing to shoot enough at goal. I mentioned it in the title race thread. I think we've reached our mental breaking point. Playing like a relegation fodder team. Good knows how long this will last. Buying anyone in the January window won't change anything. Maybe the Utd game is what we need to get our shit back together.Liverpool with one shot on target over 90 minutes! Was similar against West Brom too.

Feel sorry for him, desperately trying to come across tactically astute in the studio but sounds nervous and well, desperate.Paul Ince saying possession is all good but they have to create something.
