    If I had to guess:

    Henderson
    Williams Tuanzebe Maguire Telles
    VdB Matic
    Greenwood Mata James
    Ighalo

Let’s be honest guys, Maguire will definitely start and make his 700th consecutive appearance.

BT Sport score suggesting Ighalo will start.
From what Ole said yesterday he's not going to start. He referred to him being involved but hoping he wouldn't need him. Bit of a strange quote to be honest.

Hopefully I don’t need to put him on in that we need goals, but hopefully he can join in.

I heard the other day that Maguire had the most minutes in 2020 of anyone in World football.

    Confirmed United squad members:

De Gea, Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Bailly, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay, Matic, Van de Beek, Mata, Lingard; Martial, Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford, Ighalo.
Was hoping that Rashford, Bruno wouldn't be on the match day squad next hope is that both see no game tonight.

If Maguire starts tonight I'll be more convinced than ever that it's part of his contract that he must start every game when fit.

Me too, and I think none of us were surprised. Bruno was up there too, but from the City performance, he looks in need of a break, preferably in this game.

Will likely be AWB rather than Williams. I'd wager McFred over VBD and Matic, too.

That could well be true. The guy almost never gets injured, which makes a change from a few years ago when our entire defensive line was made from glass.

    Very strangely worded :)

"Yeah he's off soon - but he can pad the bench out until he leaves in a couple of weeks"

Good to see Bruno rested completely. Right decision. Otherwise we all know we'd be bringing him on for 35-40.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

It is true. We also had Bruno at #4 and Lindelof at #7.

On the one hand it's good that we've got players who can play so many minutes, on the other hand it is worrying that we've been going overboard and not letting them rest enough. Especially as Lindelof was playing with a bit of a back injury for most (all?) of that time.

I'm just absolutely desperate that we don't see Bruno playing tonight

    What a weird feeling.

They both desperately need a rest, Ole will wreck any chance we have by burning those two out.
    Re: Rashford and Bruno

I accept what you say partially.
The opposing argument would be that without these 2 players on the pitch, can we win the match?
Bruno is an absolute game-changer and turned us into a mid table team in Dec 2019, to a top3 team a year later.

One way to mitigate this would be to start with Rashford and Bruno on the bench and if/when we need goals, we bring these players on in the 2nd half. This means that these key players will only be playing 45 minutes in each match, until they feel that they are well rested. If we are winning the match without them, then they can be left on the bench.

Consider also, that Ole is going for 3 trophies (Europa, League FA, Cup, EPL title), which means that every game in every competition is important and a must-win.

He has? I must've missed that.
Donny van de Beek can prove a point tonight
Donny van de Beek is set to start for Manchester United against Watford amid concerns in Holland over his lack of playing time.

“I’ve answered this question so many times and there’s so many examples of players needing a little bit of time,” Solskjaer said. “Quality players, we have many examples ourselves and there are other clubs with examples and sometimes it takes time.
“You don’t expect people who care for him to be quiet at times, especially when they want the best for them. Donny is going to play tomorrow, it’s another chance for him. And, yes, I’ve spoken to him and made him aware of how much we rate him but he will play tomorrow and it’s a good chance again for him to kick on.”

Expect a full strength squad with no rotation for this one. The PE teacher will be scared to get knocked out of cups in back to back matches, (especially this one since it's a Championship side, he's clearly desperate to get a trophy), him rotating against Instanbul and that ultimately being the reason why we are out of the CL put the fear into him about rotation/rest. So no rest going into the Liverpool game because we can't rest against Burnley. Meanwhile Liverpool will have 8 days off before that, while we'll have played in 2 more games between today and then and only have 4 days off before the match.
    No white text?
We'll find out if Justin was right, fairly soon.

Watford have the 2nd best defensive record in the championship with 17 goals conceded in 22 matches. However they seem vulnerable at set pieces but can United exploit that weakness tonight?
