Odd that a brilliant striker as a player finds it so difficult to organize an attack against clubs which defend well.

Top 4 is the absolute best we can do under Ole. Give it another season and people will be utterly fed-up.

By no means is he doing a bad job so far. What i will say is that there's been one constant through his time here, teams with significantly worse players look much, much more cohesive as a unit. Most managers in the world would give a lot to have the selection of talent that we have at the club, yet we only really look like a team once every 4 or 5 games.

The same players are playing most of the games, there is no rotation. Players are looking tired as a result. Sheff Utd was the perfect opportunity to rotate a couple of players. The squad rotation needs to be better.

I think it’s telling that we’re in no rush (rightly so) to extend his contract beyond this summer. With the amount of talent that we have we are still not resembling a cohesive unit after 3 years...

Set us up not to concede and try to hit them on the break. Similar tactics to Mou. 0-0 at Arse 0-0 at City 0-0 at Chelsea and 0-0 at Liv. Spot the pattern

I just don't understand what our plan is if one of our game changers doesn't come good.

The difference between us and City in this regard is day and night. They score goals because of the team setup and knowing players will play a certain way. It's why we don't make subs.

I love Ole but he's not a manager who can compete in terms of quality with any of our big rivals'

His game management is awful.

Also, you'd think he'd be more reactive with injuries, given that constantly playing Rashford resulted in that disc injury.

But it seems we're keen to play everybody till they're broken.

How long has Ole been here now? Apart from being a good counter attacking team, which id argue we already were, what has he actually improved from a coaching perspective.

We were winning games we shouldn't have, we were over performing according to our xg. We just aren't coached well enough, when players aren't scoring wonder goals or individual brilliance, we extremely struggle to score

The question now is, what is he actually here to do? To galvanise the squad? Improve the mentality? He's already done all that. We are certainly never winning a league title with him when there is simply just far better coaches than him.

Glasgow resident these days.
Doesn’t have the mentality to win a trophy as a manager. Don’t care what folk think, he’s just too negative and this United side don’t have any passion or fight when against top teams. Forget the FA cup, our league performances have been rubbish. Easy to play against and rubbish going forward.

He's firmly in safe territory at the moment imo. There are loads of encouraging signs with this team, there have been some great performances and we are doing much better with the ball when in possession. I have a lot of patience for him currently. I still think it was a very risky and unwise appointment and that the first full season under Ole there were some catastrophic decisions made.

But atm despite recent dip of form he is still surpassing expectations I had and I can see improvements in the way the team plays and trying to replace where he is with the team at this moment in time would be madness. He's done enough to earn a bit of support.

He saying we were good defensively?

Pepe could/should have had 2. We gave 3 free kicks around the edge of the box.Thats with Arsenal barely having a go.

The fouls stuff definitely got on my nerves. We were trying so hard to give them chances to score.

I’m not sure why people were moaning? We created enough great chances to win this match, not his fault we didn’t win. We had more control of the game, in fact we weren’t even playing counter, arsenal were.

Spoke to his mentality a bit there. He’s happy with that. He thinks this is the Arsenal he used to play against.

It’s been said to death but 1 goal (a penalty) in 6 games against the ‘big 6’ is absolutely shocking. That can‘t be a coincidence, it’s how we’re set up and player mentality. Need some big performances in the last 4 against these teams. Why do I feel like I’m saying the same thing with one less game each time...

Yea i would kind of agree. I dont think it is a terrible result. They usually beat us in London.

But i still think overall we could be better. We rely on individual good play to win games.

Honestly, we have to see better football than this. It’s just not good enough. We should have gotten a reaction today after Wednesday. At least a fast start, something. He has to fix these poor starts to games and get this team attacking with some rhythm and flow. It looks like such hard work for us to create a chance in a game.

We created extremely little against an average as feck Arsenal team when we are supposedly in a title race. You can't expect players to score from every fecking opportunity they get, players miss chances, all players do. Thats why you create more chances to ensure you get enough to score.

It absolutely is his responsibility to ensure we score. We were scoring more than our xg thjs season, it simply put wasn't sustainable and has caught up with us

Bit too overly positive about a draw against a team missing three important players.

ToxicCafe I'm afraid. All our players get slaughtered, our manager gets constant abuse.

We can't drop points in a single game without a huge meltdown on here.

Basically we have to win 34 out of 38 games. We're only allowed to drop points against City and Liverpool (and even that is debatable).

He needs coaches. By all accounts Fergie didn’t do that much on the training pitch in our last CL winning season, Meulensteen & Carlos would handle our patterns of play in his later years, find some elite coaches & do the same because Ole seems a good man manager but we play like strangers at times

The football isn’t going to change under Ole, this is it, all time and money will mean is more of the same with some better players (if we buy any).

People have to be realistic. There was no way we were winning this three or four nil. Arsenal usually have our number in London. If we were going to win it would have been by a goal. One nil or two one. Something like that.

If we had beaten SU like we should have, the draw would not have been bad.

But i still think overall we can be better. G Neville was saying during the match that we play in patches. We do be casually passing it around and then something happens and we score. Usually out of individual brilliance. We are not a Guardiola or Klopp team.

He left us very light in (defensive) midfield by bringing on Martial when McT came off. And people are still claiming he wanted a draw. Bruno is a 10 and at times even plays like a striker. Fred is not a quality DM. This leaves us with limited options in our build up play.
I am terrified that we might not even upgrade this area in the summer transfer window.

I'm sorry how are people blaming Ole here?

Any other day and we could have scored 2-4 goals (depending on how optimistic/pessimistic you are). We created enough chances. As far as defensive side is concerned, apart from a 10 min spell, I think we were pretty comfortable today, unless ofcourse you expect a side to concede 0 chances

Are you telling me Cavani missed point blank chances twice and Rashford poor decision making in his final third are not chances? Cavani should have scored one today, missing twice is the problem, missing one fine but twice is issue.
