Imo Leicester have a very good chance to finish above Chelsea. How many cups are they still in?

We must stay focus because there is a chance for us in title race. Both Liverpool and City will be involved heavily in Champions League soon, and I fancy City going high in this competition. They might get a bit tired towards the end of the season.

We just need to leave te Europa League and focus on the EPL.

Leicester are in the EL and the FA Cup; Chelsea are in the CL and FA Cup. If anything Leicester are the more likely side to progress in Europe, considering they have Slavia Prague and we have fecking Atletico Madrid.

Fair enough, I think they will try to stay in both top 4 and El races so should be interesting.

If anything Leicester might underestimate Slavia and focus on the league. They'll either get away with it or have one cup less to care about. You've got quality on your side but we've seen many times how teams crash when you least expect it.

Yeah could see that. They'd also benefit from presumably playing a better XI in the league around those fixtures as well whilst we will be forced to rotate almost certainly.

From what I've seen of Slavia last year in the CL they're really good. I think you played them as well, how did you see it? I think if Leicester rest their best players they're out. And the league is all they will care about.

We played them a couple seasons ago in the EL under Sarri - I remember the first leg being a jammy one and the second being a bit of a ridiculous one where Kepa conceded two (very well hit) goals from long distance. I don't know much about them this year, though I'd suspect losing Soucek and Coufal to West Ham almost certainly weakened them considerably.

True, I really rate Soucek. Who knows, maybe Tuchel will take you that step up the top again. Saying that I still thought Frank should have been given til the end of the season at least considering the last season.

Really can't see that happening at all. Ole wants a trophy and feels these players need one. The FA cup and EL are the most realistic. West Ham could be tricky but I fancy us to beat Real Soceidad whose form hasn't been great in the last six games (though neither has ours). fatigue could be a massive issue (like last years final few games) but all the top teams are going to have a lot of tiring fixtures ahead.

I can understand why fans are upset about it, obviously Lampard is up there with our greatest ever players. But from a footballing perspective, our prospects were becoming increasingly bleak - failing to qualify for the CL next year would be a disaster from both a financial and footballing perspective. Apparently the relationship between Lampard and the board has been in decline for more than a year now (dating to last season's January window), and given the mounting unrest in the dressing room, the writing was on the wall.

Obviously I think Lampard did a tremendous job last season, but the reality is the job changed in terms of pressure, expectations, and in which attributes were required for success.

Get 6 points from next 2 and we will be fine. Leicester Liverpool are going to play each other so keep winning and the gap will increase.

Rather than clearing away from the rest like City have, looks like we are stuck in the pack by dropping stupid points.

We’re still in this! Would be fantastic for the club if we make top 4 this season - new contract for Ole would surely follow.

Good thing we build up a bit of a buffer in the first half of the season. Think we'll hold on for 4th (behind Leicester and Chelsea). I mean, who else is gonna catch up? Liverpool and Spurs are even worse than we are at the moment. Everton maybe? I don't see it.

We’ve been dragged into this & only have ourselves to blame. You cannot drop 5 points against the Wiesel 2 teams in the league & call yourselves title contenders.

Not confident at all on this. We've thrown away far too many easier points and have a tough run in from here.

At least with a mere battle for top 4, as opposed to a title race, you can drop a lot more sloppy points.

People are being a bit swift to dismiss Leicester from the mix.

With the form we are in I'm not too confident. Look clueless up front and weak at the back

The leagues gone, forget looking above us its below us we should be concerned about. Leicester now level on points and other teams creeping up the table we seriously need to get our act together and fast. Finishing outside the top 4 at this stage considering our league position for most of the season would be an embarrassment. We’re in danger of doing what Leicester did last season.

This has been the case with ole for 3 seasons now, we will have a really good spell of results for a month or two followed by just as long as spell of bad results that leaves us in a tough fight for a top 4 spot, it's the new norm now at the club where a lot of fans and the board are happy with having the same type of ambition as a club like arsenal, spurs, everton and Leicester's who would all see just getting a top 4 spot as great achievement.

After Newcastle next week it's back to back away games to Chelsea and City. Any cushion we have now will probably be gone by then.

Our run-in is pretty horrific too. Our final 4 away games are Spurs, Leeds, Villa, and Wolves. 2 of our last 4 home games include Liverpool and Leicester.

Leicester already level with us, and Everton will be if they win their games in hand. We’re clinging onto second but could easily find ourselves outside the top 4 if we don’t sort our shit out.

That Leicester win looks really bad for us now. I don’t think it was worth it wanting them to beat Liverpool.

One of Everton's games in hand is against City. City win it and 10 points away from the top.

Bad results in the matches coming up, which include Chelsea and City, and we will be in real trouble in terms of top four.

City will obviously win it.

Leicester will finish inside the top 4 (at least 2nd or 3rd), they've been the most consistent of everyone else.

I think Tuchel's been brought in at the perfect time to see Chelsea kick on/finish in the top 4. They look efficient.

It'll then be one of us, Liverpool or Everton for the final spot.

We should make it, but mainly because I don't expect a whole lot from the Scouse clubs.

I said it against Liverpool away, we are not performing well and this season has shades of the one where Mourinho finished second. It's interesting to see what will happen because if we continue in such an inconsistent manner I'm almost certain that Ole will be relieved of his job if we finish outside of Europe. The team needs to pick up the performances.

Season now going along the lines as I expected with a real battle on Uniteds hands to finish in the top 4 now.

The biggest concern is the amount of players that are off form, the creativity in the side has taken a nosedive since Pogba was ruled out through injury. Can't have any confidence in that United defence to keep clean sheets and earn 3 points when not playing well.

3 top 4 place are up for grabs between 8 sides and anything could happen in the run in. Squeaky bum time!

Top 4 is anybody’s. No one can really get sacked until they’re out of it can they? Thank god for the CL.

Yeah Chelsea & West Ham have golden opportunities to go within 4 pts of 2nd with games against Newcastle & Sheff Utd respectively which will really pile the pressure on to ours & Leicester's shoulders. Just realised we still have Everton who have a couple of games in hand lurking very closely as well.
