Surely a loan then? they knew about the issues before going into January and didn't have it sorted at all (so thought they weren't gonna waste time and money - and them just got a couple last second)
Kabak will be banned before they know it.
But when TAA or Robertson would cross it they'd do it from sensible positions (by line or where they can whip it behind the defence)... Feels like all their crosses now are from difficult angles and just aimlessly lobbed in.

Not sure about Gomes but I thought Matip played pretty much every game alongside VVD both those seasons.

I dunno, maybe a Liverpool fan can chime in. But it did seem the number of crosses they put in from different angles was high (including deep). Seemed they were always quick to get it into the box

This is worse than anything under Roy Hodgson. I know there are mitigating circumstances but we have been poor for too long.
Everton need another attacker here. James has been surprisingly reluctant to pass it forward. Doucoure and Gomes don't have the ability. I think Carlo is hoping to keep it 1-0 till the 70th and then DCL on. Very risky approach.

Matip had around 15 last season and 30 before (around 30 or less is his average)
tbf Gomes had 43 as a high last season but take that out he probably averages less than 20 games a season
I'm sure there was a post on here that showed injuries and it would be like us having Maguire (vvd) and then having jones and bailly as partner and cover only
