Henderson just saved us from a suckered punch
Honestly, losing that away record might make us a bit more adventurous away from home seeing as we’re looking like we’re happy with draws so Ole can have that longest away streak record to his name.

A genuinely shocking game of Premier League football comes to an end.

Almost all the players from United look tired. They are worn out and there is no one to replace them when Pogba, Donny and Martial are missing. Our first 13-15 players are really good, but if we have 3-4 injuries, then we have problems. City have a huge squad, and they win the championship. While many of the other teams at the top of the league look tired, City have a big enough squad to continue.

So you are happy with this are you.
Nope, boring match. Yet it's always the same tune with many fakers in here, always whining it's the manager's fault without looking at the big picture. Leicester is flagging, Liverpool is flagging, and the rest are hit and miss. City has by some distance the best squad in the league and we're clearly starting to tire at this stage like we did last season, with no proper preparation for the season, constantly playing every 3/4 games due to cup commitments, and a lack of fans which appears to affect our intensity in the first half is evidently proving difficult. All events out of Ole's hands, but yeah, let's all jump down the guy's throat. Whom I'd like to add has just extended our unbeaten away record....

Jesus, people lack common sense in here. Just utter nonsense by some regarding Ole, as per usual.

Shaw been our best player Henderson solid this is a nother load of dross. 0-0 the kings of 0-0 thought LVG went few years ago. Sum it up pants. I'm getting pissed of now and my Patience is fastly running out with this lot now . Were bad and sadly admit Ole has got his work to do with this lot. I'm also tending to agree with some posters Ole is just keeping his bosses happy by getting CL . And after these 0-0 it may not be enough.

Another point for Ole and his dour looking men.

No energy or ideas, what a shame to get this far and just fizzle out in this last month

We only have 1 truly world-class player and that is Paul Labile Pogba.

Without him we are just a bang average top 6 club! We just have to accept the facts that unless we sign 2-3 quality players next season that improve our starting 11, we will be getting top 4 again at best...

The past couple of games just shows how far we are off from City! We can beat City on the weekend and win the remaining 11 games of the season and yet still be double-digit points off the title LOL!

We miss Pogba, pure and simple.
100%. Bruno alone as the one to create chances for us isnt enough, while Rashy and Greenwood doesnt score enough goals at all. Quite a boring match and a dissapointing result. We gotta play way better and both Rashy and Greenwood gotta create more chances and score more goals....

Let's be honest here, the reason we look toothless and have looked toothless is that we have key weaknesses in midfield and attack that make chances hard to come by.

Bruno is great, but without any support from midfield in getting him and the attackers the ball, its pointless keeping him so high up. More importantly, Rashford can't be our main winger he's not good enough for that. Far too inconsistent and passive. When you add that with Greenwood not really being a winger, we have not consistent wide outlets outside of Shaw. This wouldn't be so bad if we had a great midfield, but we don't. Our issue has nothing to do with our no.9 position, its the flanks and midfield, no creativity outside of Bruno.

Maybe it will open the eyes of the ones who think we are great.
I'm tending to agree, this is 3 0-0 on a trot, and this was the worst, of them all. City will pass us to death we will chase Shadows press feck all, and get beat. Backwards step Ole needs to rollock these guys and himself. Pants pants pants

Young players they have previously blooded into the team in better conditions not players with little experience, into a match we are desperate to get the win in.
I generally agree thats a good approach but given the limited options today i think it would have been worth putting amad on for matic. Its not like klopp etc havent done the same in the past

People mkae so many excuses for ole. He couldnt possibly be expected to attack against the top 6 teams without a new cb etc. In reality we have one of the best squads in the league and an elite crop of young players

Let me harp on it again. You can't play with three players who want to play as a striker. That's why United's three up top doesn't work.

Not sure he can rollock them in the way they need. He will swear a bit. They need the fear of god putting into them.

The most shocking bit about this inept performance was at the end. We have a free kick with seconds to go. You fill the penalty area and get Dean Henderson to pump the ball into the box. What do we do? Pass it sideways! PASS IT SIDEWAYS. And then the final whistle. And Ole smiles. I give up. I really give up.
They were either passing it backwards, sideways or walking around as if out for a Sunday stroll, it was enraging me. Where was the urgency.

So you think starting lots of our first team against sociedad when 4-0 was out oles hands

He has had a lot of chances to rest bruno and others and passed them up

Leicesters squad is a lot worse than ours and they have had a lot more injuries

I can not understand people like you...United are facing the same amount of games as every other fecking team so using this tired excuse..of course it's the managers fault how the team are playing..who else? He controls the training and tactis but we are totally clueless in the attacking phase.. just look at Everton to see what difference a great manager makes on the playing style, commitment and improving players..I liked OGS as a player and hoped he would be a great United manager...but it's clear he will never be..he's just not good enough

Very good point. Someone needs to inform Ole, that in the grand scheme of things, an unbeaten away record means absolutely NOTHING if we finish outside the top 4. Will we be able to attract the top players we need? Will Bruno look at leaving? Oh but it won't matter as we have that away run!

Someone needs to light the world's biggest fire, or rocket, under Ole and coaching staff, the players and ultimately the board as I've long maintained Ole has taken us as far as he can and decisions need to be made.

    We've no creativity in midfield.

I could feel the will to live trickling out of me during that game.

I'm not unreasonable, but I thought Ole should have brought on two subs after 60 minutes. It just wasn't working. My blood was boiling. Why wait until the 75th?

I get that the game has modernized and wingers have started being more aggressive in seeking goals, but creativity for a winger in the build up is still important. The lack of creativity we have there is mindboggling. How can anyone expect Shaw and AWB to be our primary creators.

I'm just stating facts, people forget the utter brilliance we do show at times on the counter with some superbly trained moves. Granted they don't happen as frequently as I'd like due to low block tactical setups from opponents but still, we do have a counter-attacking style that is so damn good when it comes off. Also, you resorted to using another sport to validate your opinion which is utterly ridiculous. How about we compare fishing to football, or snooker while I'm at it?

Post match interview with sky concerning.
For Ole to say we weren't at it and for not to change any thing on the field or make subs untill 70 mins is just a sign of incompetence in the job.
