More bad games than good for a while now. Terribly negative, too defensive and a really poor result. At some point you’d think we might want to play on the front foot.

Henderson should have saved that one. Straight at him.

Can't say that we deserved a win but we missed some big chances. All to play for in the second leg. Hopefully we have Cavani or Rashford available by then.

James looking anonymous and giving the ball away everytime. Guess his purple patch is over.

Until the 93rd minute, this looked like one of those games that we're so accustomed to: playing absolute shite but somehow eking out the win.

Henderson should have saved that but Milan deserved the goal. Absolutely terrible performance from pretty much start to finish. If they're smart, they sit back at the San Siro and force us to play on the front foot.

One step forward one step back.

Rubbish performance. Hopefully Cavani and Rashford are back for the second leg.

Maguire and James should have scored. Henderson should have saved the goal at the end

Amad in the end has saved us off the bench. A star is born

Milan had better buildup play than we did up until our defensive third, they committed players forward with fullbacks often getting in decent crosses or trying to come on the end of crosses. We defended our box well against these final balls until the final corner where we conceded

A cowardly last 20 minutes, we should never ever be playing that way with this lot of players.

Weird game. Scored 1, missed 2 open goals and made subs half way through the second half in preperation for Sunday.
Id like to go far in the competition but i wouldn't be upset if we drew and went out next week. EL is only realy a crutch to get CL imo

We deserved to lose that one probably by a couple of goals so I guess we're lucky we are level.

Absolutely shocking performance and criminally cowardly from Ole tonight. AC Milan have so many of their best players missing and he brings on defensive minded players and takes off Bruno. We could have went for it and tried to capitalise on a weakened Milan side, yet Ole decides to be cautious and we end up drawing 1-1 and giving away an away goal.

Milan now have the advantage in the tie and had their fecking reserves playing. Appalling and the manager needs to take a lot of the blame for the set up and subs.

Weird game.

We were crap... Yet missed two open goals.

They were unlucky to have not scored before they did...

So a draw was probably fair.

It's almost like clockwork. After a great result we go into the next game with a shocking mentality

Can we sign matey?

We didn't play out first XI and had Rashford out, second leg should be different. Shaw, Fred, Rashford in from the start and we can get a goal.

No complaints. We were awful in possession and missed 2 sitters. Fully deserved draw for Meelan. Hope we can get a couple back for the return leg. We are missing control in the midfield

Fair result. Horrible performance. Is there an explanation out there for how we can look so on it one match then completely off it the next? Surely there’s a motivation factor in there?

The sad thing is people will now put all the blame on Henderson but we've been shocking against literally half their first team. Outplayed.
I don’t think so. It was very poor from everyone, and that’s clear as day.

awful at the end. The big issue I have is that it was more a failure of technique than an error per se. Which is more of a concern.

Trying to decide what was more irritating, us trying to pass the ball and finding milan players or the commentator going on and on about the handball goal.
Who was it? It was horrible commentary.

Typical United in every way. Beat City at the weekend, look dire days later, concede to a corner in the final few mins. United way.

Meh. Don’t think Milan played half as well as BT seem to think. We literally missed 2 open goals, which would have completely killed the tie.

Everyone knew we would concede from that corner. It's absolutely ridiculous at this point.

Parked the bus and ended up conceding, but Milan was probably the better side, anyway.

Arguably, McTominay should have been sent off. There are question marks over whether the goal was actually a handball or came off his side. In the, we had the rub of the green with the ref either way.

Great goal, but other than that I think we were pretty poor.

Terrible performance.

Subs and attitude to defend was crap by Ole.

Honestly if we get knocked out to these it's not acceptable.

Pisspoor. Outworked by a decent Milan side missing a few of their better players. You could argue Ole was down to bear bones in terms of attacking options but even when we set up to contain them and hold our lead we looked shaky.

There's no doubt they deserved at least a draw from that but what a kick in the teeth to concede so late, from a corner after a poor keeping error. We've given them the advantage ahead of a crunch tie. Absolute rubbish.

Even though we missed two open goals we deserved to get sucker punched. Awful performance on the whole, against a heavily depleted Milan side who outplayed us for most of the game. That away goal makes them favourites to go through. They don't have to chase the tie and it will be very tough to take the game away from them, especially if they get some first teamers fit for the second leg.
