You just know we turned down pornhub. :(
The only companies Woodward would turn down money from are indeed porn companies and terrorist organizations, you'd think.
Anyway how is an app developer a "good fit"? Shit logo, shit name, small.

I’m glad the club wouldn’t entertain offers from betting companies.

I despise the leaching b@stards. Ruin people’s lives and it’s plastered over everything. I would ban gambling tomorrow if I could.

Playing Devil’s advocate here (Hi, TeamViewer PR lurkers ;)) but is there any chance they redesign their logo to something more eye-catching/memorable in time to coincide with the new shirt’s release? Their current logo isn’t recognisable at all and this would be a great opportunity to re-brand before going on show to hundreds of millions of potential customers every single week.

Just a thought...
I suppose the whole point is to get their existing brand noticed on a global stage.

I know what your getting at though, would be nice. It could be worse, I’m happy that it’s going to be white.

Genuinely shocked by the snobbish attitudes to this news, just because it’s a company not many have heard of or it’s not a luxury brand.

To be honest I couldnt really get my head around the hate for Chevy, but I think this logo in all white will look a lot classier and definitely more minimalist.

End of the day they are paying a fantastic amount of money for the next 5 years, and the Chevy deal was always going to be hard to beat, especially in these COVID financially restricted times. Some people just look for any excuse to be miserable and criticise. Give your heads a wobble.

Have to feel a bit sorry for Chevrolet, I bet they didnt think we were going to be so shit all these years back in 2014 when they signed that deal. The most expensive shirt deal ever, we didn't promote their brand very well.
Well yes, apart from the Chevrolet brand was pulled in the UK in 2015. Always wondered why they would sign such a huge deal when they don’t operate in our core market, geographically.

Why would anyone think they have to feel sorry for Chevrolet?

Or do you believe 'corporations are people', my friend?

We are a huge club globally. The UK is a fraction of our fanbase.

You know what I mean. They probably thought we were going to be winning stuff, loads of pics with our players holding up trophies with the chevrolet logo showing
We all saw their logo dozens and hundreds and thousands of times on your shirts during games and in media depictions. Don't worry, they got their money's worth.

I wouldn't feel sorry for them.

Millions of fans have come across their logo on replica and fake shirts around the world since they started sponsoring us. The brand recognition from this would have made it worth while

I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.

Yeah I guess so. Also signing famous players helps too.

An even sillier colour logo than Chevrolet then.
Has anyone mocked up a shirt yet?

Have to admit their website already looks a lot more premium with our crest everywhere.

Teamviewer and Manchester United, two globally winning teams, join forces in a landmark Principal Partnership. We at TeamViewer are proud to announce that from July 2021 onwards, we will be the Official Shirt Partner of Manchester United.

The TeamViewer logo will be embedded into the fabric of the Club, emblazoned on their Shirt front. TeamViewer will not only stand at the side lines during iconic moments in the legendary “Theatre of Dreams”. We will be right there. On the field. With them. Connected.

This partnership is based on a shared passion; connecting people around the world and bringing fans closer than ever before to the Club that they love.

I love the logo! It'll keep the opposition guessing which way Diallo and Rashford are gonna go.

Breaking up the sponsorships into portions is a good way to go when everyone is short on money, and 47 million a year is amazing considering a few more got Chevy everything. Wonder how much United will get for the rest.

Great idea really and very clever from the club. Since COVID everyone has started to connect more online and this is a trend that will most certainly continue moving forward post pandemic.

Staying connected with each other, being connected to fans, it's all very good positive PR and absolutely topical.

There was a past article somewhere that stated a rumor that we were going to be sponsored by a Chinese company beginning with the letter ‘H.’ After much digging, I think the caf settled on Haier as the most probable sponsor as a result.

This seems like an image from some sort of weird cognitive psychology experiment on how arrows influence visual attention. Don't know though if averting attention away from the body would help or hurt us during competition.
It will keep reminding our players to pass it to the side.

It's what I speculated in then. There is a marketplan to make use of the software already installed on the some 2.5 billion units. Teamviewer supports ads and the majority of the users are freeware users. TeamViewer might offer some Manchester United related incentive to get a paid subscription - That's how they earn their sponsorship back. When you have a enormous userbase, there is potential to utilize it. It doesn't matter if most people will simply ignore it,.

Only a small % will actually interact with the ads and make any kind of purchase, but that's enough when 100% is 2 500 000 000.

Still, would have preferred a sweet Amazon Global logo.

On the surface this looks a desperate move by United, TeamViewer is pretty small time. But given our performance on the field and pandemic, its probably the best case scenario. Not sure what TeamViewer gets out of it really. Its a software platform, not sure how United makes it worth it for them. There is a bunch of similar crapware floating around.
