Thought Henderson was great again today. People still questioning why he's getting a run of games starting in the PL surely have to be changing their opinions after that performance.
He's decisive and dominates his defence, which reassures them.

Great result, great win! Really happy with that second half performance especially but I thought generally we were better in the first half too, and yet we ended up 1-0 down. Stepped up a gear second half.

Pogba had a great game in my opinion. He was heavily involved at the business end of the pitch. Greenwood had a fantastic impact coming off the bench. I'm liking that he seems to be coming into some nice form at the business end of the season here. Cavani has a good game, his best for us in a long time. He seemed he use the anger from having the disallowed goal to push on his own performance.

We needed a win against a top 6 side and a convincing performance too. We got that today, and it also went some way to avenging the freak result earlier this season.

What a total shithouse of a team Spurs are. No wonder they lost against Dnamo Bratwurst.

In all seriousness, cracking response from us. Did not let the shithousery of spurs get to us, nor the abysmal officiating. Hope Ole has a go while praising the lads.

Loved the character

If Spurs put as much effort into their football as they do at being cnuts, they might secure a Europa league place.

Feeling pretty good about where we are right now compared to the start of the season. Winning the Europa League would really cement our improvement.

Again, i have to sacrifice watching it LIVE. Just finish watching the Highlights.. It was sexy football.. hate Son for that disallowed goal and he himself scoring one..

Past week lost to Leicester in the FA cup, i watch it LIVE. So i forego watching it LIVE today and we won.. sighhhh..no worries, United before my feelings.. GGMU!!

Spurs were pretty woeful. Seemed far more focused on diving, fouling and pressuring the referee than any kind of progressive football. Bit of an exaggeration but it looked like they had 8 defenders to kick and scrap and break things up and Son and Kane up front to punish mistakes and get the odd counter attack. Just looked a nothing team.

So much to praise in this performance it’s hard to give a MOTM. Everyone pulled their weight. We were defiant after the horror referee call and getting sucker punched immediately thereafter.

The number of yellow cards issued against us today was unbelievable, these referees should have to explain the rational behind their decisions, and I included the VAR., referee. That could have cost us but I think it made the players more determined to win today.

When asked about Cavani’s first goal being struck off, even Jose can’t understand why Utd’s 1st half goal was disallowed.

To win the way we did, with an excellent performance, Cavani getting the winner after what happened, the imperial performance of Pogba, Fred getting shoved to the ground by Bruno after scoring was brilliant, Deano making an important save and Greenwood is finding some great form now, which bodes well to finish season strong and into Europa.

Take care of business against Granada now on Thursday, hopefully we won't get another bent ref for 3rd game running.

Are Spurs always as bad a bunch of divers and crybabies as what they showed in this match? It was absolutely disgraceful. Just means the comfortable victory was even sweeter.

Fred, Pogba and Cavani were fantastic in the second half.
Lamela in our first game, Son in this game. And yes, makes this win sweeter. More so after the disaster of call to rule our goal out.

Let’s get the one negative out of the way first: Kavanagh was abysmal, just like his performance as VAR when we played Chelsea away.

And now on to the positives! We had an indifferent start where we and Spurs cancelled each other out for the first 10 minutes, before we grew into the game and were much the better team. We poured forward at sublime intensity against a team who brought on a DM (Sissoko) for an AM (Lo Celso) while drawing at home. Robbed by the ref and Spurs (Son and Rodon in particular) were absolute cheats, but even that served as a positive as Ole probably used that to light a fire in us to win the game.

Analysing each player man for man:

Henderson - Terrific and should definitely be our number 1 at least next season now. Clearly a good shot stopper who will only get better, but his proactiveness and distribution is genuinely admirable. De Gea is a club legend and in his prime was possibly an equal to Schmeichel in terms of shot stopping, but Dean’s proactiveness and distribution is already better than DDG’s ever was.

Defence - All solid, and Luke Shaw is just so, so good. I’m so happy he showed it against Mourinho’s team as well instead of wilting (he doesn’t wilt). Imagine bullying a 20 year old just off an awful leg break because he was at fault for one goal against Watford.

Midfield - McFred was iffy in the first half, but both were excellent both on and off the ball in the second. Fred following in to score was fantastic too. Bruno once again was extremely direct and Pogba, wow, keeping him is as important as getting Sancho. Sublime player. Have him in the double pivot against lesser teams, but give him a free role against any top side, and he will be the best player. Caf mods, I’m requesting 11/10 ratings on the player ratings :)

Attack - Rashford was not there at all today unfortunately and we looked better with Mason, whose cameo was genuinely one of the best United sub appearances I can remember for a long, long while. Cavani was poor until his disallowed goal, and from there, he turned into Napoli and pre-2020 PSG Cavani. A world class performance by a genuine legend who was clearly fuming that his first goal was disallowed. Class.

10/10 ratings for Henderson, Shaw, Pogba, Greenwood and Cavani.

Tbf the only one I thought was harsh was Fred’s.

Based on how things looked like at halftime, Ole blew the test out of the water

For me at least this was the most satisfying win of the season.
Getting revenge against this cnty team and by playing better football and creating more chances is a great achievement indeed.
We have won 28 points this season from losing positions, that has to mean something for sure regarding mentality and desire to win.

Vintage United comeback, really pleased for them all, especially Greenwood and Cavani. We needed that! Ole looked absolutely thrilled and rightly so!
