It was supposed to start at 13:00 and run for a couple of hours, according to James Cooper on Sky earlier.

This is definitely popcorn worthy to see how this plays out. Will they be open and honest with their answers about the future vision of the club? Will the people asking the questions be pre-determined and their questions pre-determined? OR will it become contested and heated like we've seen with the protests and the fans forum session completely blown up?

We have to wait for the stock exchange to open before we get updates don't we?

But at least we get the shirt sales in the meantime.

These guys are from corporate America. If you don't think they know who will be asking questions and what will be asked, you're deluded. They will set up some "tough questions" to give the illusion that they're speaking to the "pain of real fans." If you follow the corporate news networks during an election cycle in the US, you know exactly what you're about to hear.

The meeting notes are released months later, so you'll be in for a wait.

Though maybe they'll make an exception for this one as it is so high profile and will come under increased pressure to release them early.
The idea that we won't hear updates for months?

Nah, the fans forum minutes are usually very low-profile affairs. Used to read them all a few years back, mainly because the question of the stadium development was almost ever present but nothing ever got done.

This one, I appreciate, might very well be different.

I'm expecting a few of these:

"in these uncertain times..."

"Stadium improvements a priority."

Fan feedback "we hear you and want the dialogue to continue".

"We trust Ole and the players."

"Fans are the heart of the club."

Apparently it was pre written speech by Joel and then "tech problems" when answering questions. Basically he couldn't hear.

This is from a guy I know in USA. Could be bs but he isn't one known to be billy b/s..er

He'd surely know the questions beforehand though, right?

Not necessarily to vet the dumb ones but to make sure he has a thought out answer.

Also considering renaming the stadium to pay towards refurb.

£80m available for new players and more through sales of our own

Admitted ESL handled badly, didn't rule out something in future but different than ESL

Not looking to sell but will have more input with fans

I don't know mate. Just reporting back what I heard. As I say I can't confirm as it's someone I know who is a fan not an itk

That's bullshit if ever I've heard it.

You don't quell supporters anger by renaming the ground. Get someone new to get info from.

Yeah he definitely announced our transfer budget to the world
Said exactly this too tbh.

Maybe I'm bored and should have waited but thought I'd post just so I can call him a cnut if he is lying

Can we just wait to hear proper official stuff instead of filling the thread with hearsay? No offence. Pure and simple.
Fair enough. I did think this before posting. But couldn't help myself. Sorry

there's no way any of that was said I reckon just seems like none of that would go down well and no corporate type would go ahead with saying that

Yeah that would go down REALLY well with the fans. I think thats absolute BS. Would cause more protests and unrest with everyone if true!

Plus you wouldn't announce to the world how much you have to spend would you? That would be utter madness to be fair haha.

Still, should be fun when all the info comes out later on

Cavanis Mrs gave birth today. Nothing to do with the glazers meeting.

Just what my mate told me
Oh wow that’s true isn’t knowledge that can be found anywhere else so this has definitely given the rest of what you have said credibility.

The Glazers are idiots, but its a pretty crap lie to think they'd even consider renaming OT, they know full well that's not an option.
It can be done and still use Old Trafford name as well.

How long do these things normally go on for? Would have expected some sort of news to start dripping through by now
