United are an embarrassment.
We'd concede ridiculous number of goalsHas there been any talk of us signing him?
AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw.
McTominay
Bruno Grealish/Pogba
Mase. Rashford. Sancho

Would lose a lot of pleasure, as the only reason Villa games are worth watching is for him. This guy is the real deal! We missed our chance last season before villa offered him an improved contract. If city somehow sign him I think I'll loose all hope in football
We’d score a feck ton thoughWe'd concede ridiculous number of goals
Why not just play both?I’d prefer him to Bruno in our 10 role (if we absolutely have to play a fecking 10).
Sancho money + Tuanzebe probably will be if he is looking to move.Would Sancho money be enough for him?
Because I’m trying to build a team that makes sense. One or the other for me.Why not just play both?
There’s not a chance we would sell Tuanzebe for enough to make up the difference. Villa are loaded and don’t need to sell. Grealish is going to be very very expensive.Sancho money + Tuanzebe probably will be if he is looking to move.
We could easily play both. Whether we could play all three of Bruno, Grealish and Rashford would be another story, but it would probably be Rashford that would lose out there (unless he got back into the form he showed for a few months before his back injury in 19/20).Because I’m trying to build a team that makes sense. Well we could replace Rashford with Grealish, but Grealish is no winger and needs to be involved all over the pitch I think. If we are to buy anyone to replace Rashford, it should be an actual winger who can threaten in behind and get 20 a season IMO.We could easily play both. Having all of our wingers being forwards focused on goals rather than playmakers is one of our biggest weakness IMO. Playing a 4231 requires one of the wingers to be more of a creative playmaker to help provide the balance. Ideally we'd want that player on the right though since Rashford is, at least for now, ahead of Greenwood.Well we could replace Rashford with Grealish, but Grealish is no winger and needs to be involved all over the pitch I think. Not that Grealish is going to happen unfortunately.
No.Would Sancho money be enough for him?
Grealish is a good player, especially on the eyes, but there are some crazy posts on here.Well we could replace Rashford with Grealish, but Grealish is no winger and needs to be involved all over the pitch I think. +1 That was why I was surprised when Ole went Rashford - Cavani - Greenwood against Villareal (a team we expect to just sit back and defend).Having all of our wingers being forwards focused on goals rather than playmakers is one of our biggest weakness IMO. If ShearerYeah, but Villa has absolutely no chance of winning the league anytime soon.
It makes a lot of difference at the end of your career. Sure, playing for your club you love is great, but most top players want to win titles and getting paid even more to do it would be even better.
I think the Premier League gets a little bit of coverage outside of England....anyone who watched him play knew how good he was and anyone who didn't only has to ask.One of the best English strikers ever played how many games in the Champions League, 10 in his whole career maybe? You can argue from a personal happiness standpoint maybe he made the right choice, but professionally he denied himself the chance of showing how good he was on the world stage.
In any sort of reality, who plays where for us then? Or is this one of those ‘that’s the thing, we will have options’ posts? He’s unbelievable and he’s been a ridiculous ball carrier for the last 5 years.
Martial, Pogba, Lingard Out
Sancho, Grealish In
If we can get it done it would be brilliant.
Fred, Mctominay, Matic, VDB in the middle for another year I can handle if we got that.
Sancho, Grealish, Cavani, Rashford, Greenwood, Grealish.
We can win the league if Maguire stays fit for most of it which he’s very good at.
Are you a time traveler from 2018?I've never really got the hype with Grealish. Granted I've only watched him against Chelsea (because why else will I watch a Villa game) but everytime someone else seems to outshine him in our encounters (Watkins and Traore recently).
Good dribbler but he seems to enjoy spending more time sprawling on the ground than actually making something of his dribbling. I'd gladly see us pass on him.
Replace the creative outlet. Grealish is as good as sold.Think the idea is that he replaces Traore/El Ghazi on the other side moreso than Grealish.
Then they best invest £300m in players.Villa is not selling this guy. Villa wants to break into the top 4 and no way they sell their talisman

Amusing. He would instantly become Chelsea’s best attacking player by some margin, and on top of that you get some flair and artistry that your dull team so desperately needs. A Hazard-replacement so to speak. That’s harsh for the Champions League-winner naturally, but my god is Chelsea boring to watch these days and that win was never about attacking football.I've never really got the hype with Grealish. He never proved himself in the Champions League and ultimately that’s a blot on the resume of one of this country’s finest strikers, no question. If Shearer
