I don't even know where to begin making changes. It feels like Turkey only have one attacker.
Bringing on Ayhan sounds strange. Have they turned him into a midfielder in Italy?
Nah, he plays as a centre back for Sassuolo. He was playing regularly but hasn't played since he caught COVID-19.

Unfortunately, it looks like Turkey are too nervous to even respond to the changes. That was terrible defending by Turkey for Italy's 2nd goal.

Stick a fork in it. Turkey are done. They need to be careful though as goal difference could be key in this group.

Italy so dominant today. They're gonna be a very hard team to beat... makes quite a difference having an actual decent manager in charge like Mancini IMO.

Berradi looks poor.

Why does he start ahead of Chiesa?
I can only imagine it's because Berardi is a bit better technically and may suit Italy's pass-and-move football with lots of quick and short passes better, while Chiesa is more of a ferocious dribbler. Anyway, Chiesa coming on and taking on players with tired legs will be quite a weapon later in games.

Watching Calhanoglu play as a deep-lying midfielder is so weird, but I guess Gunes has to set up a more attacking side now.

Honestly, he's going to regret keeping Karaman on the pitch. What a terrible performance.

They have Verratti to come back at some point right? That's ....a pretty damn good midfield if it clicks.

Game looked pretty decided as it was but can’t see Turkey even getting a goal back here.

What a player Immobile is...his goal scoring record is insane.

Wait, I did not realize Turkey were allowed to enter Italy's box.

yes, Mancini literally re-educated this team from the basics, after Ventura’s disaster. If only he had a bit more quality upfront… not even a Lewandowski or a Suarez, just a todays Cavani

I think that's kind of what you get when you approach the game in such a negative, zero confidence, fashion. It must be incredibly hard mentally to just flip a switch and suddenly play with confidence. Especially when you're the underdog to begin with.
Italy look okay, but not so self assured that I would see them immune to an aggressive pressing.
