Magical Manchester United.
Those celebrariotns  . You've beaten Macedonia ffs, not France.
It was our first ever win at an EURO and the first at a major tournament since 1990. We barely ever qualify for something, so it’s expected. We have just started producing decent players in the last 15 years, and this is only the second tournament we’ve been qualified for since France 1998.

They showed the replay on German TV, Alaba's facial expression was extremely hostile.
He nipped it in the bud pretty sharpish as well, whatever he was raging about. Looked suitably chastised.

Shows how powerful a leader Alaba is though. Arnautovic is a proper mouth and he wilted in front of him.

Fair enough, didnt know it had been that long. Do you have any clue what Arnautovic was about ?

Don't get me wrong me too! But they can't complain if they get it from players that are even bigger bellends like Arnautovic :D
For sure haha

Nice win in the end that, good on you. Ukraine aren't all that and Netherlands are a soft gang these days, so see you in the last 16?

Agreed. Wish he'd deliver for us more often though. The moment he went out on the left he was twice the player.

Pretty underwhelming Dutch line up. Looking forward to see De Jong play to see what he’s all about. I can see Memphis scoring today too

Netherlands is too much I fear. Ukraine can go either way they have some decent players in their side. Pretty exciting group as all are equally shit. Well apart from the Dutch

The guy is just a nutcase, I sometimes wonder whether he can count to five... no idea what was going on there again
That's harsh. Not the sharpest tool in the box and a nutcase. But our nutcase and one of our most talented footballers :)

Not even Franco “shitshow” Foda could feck this up despite serving rubbish since... ahm forever?!
What was that system about today? Alaba as libero? 5 at the back with the wing backs tucked in all the time providing zero width? He really is clueless

Why? Because he played professionally?

I don't understand how someone can spend 90 minutes listening to Jermaine Jenas and still think that argument holds up.
Who said I listened to Jenas. Can't stand the guy.
You can choose the commentary and listen to the radio commentary.

The Southgate critics need to get real. He is the manager for specific reasons.
He has a reasonable record.
And some of the hysteria is way over the top.

Surely our best footballer, but I can’t bring myself to like him for some reason. Too arrogant and his career doesn’t really back up his attitude IMHO. Could’ve been a lot more overall

I like Malinovsky of Ukraine. If I were a betting man I might put a little on him for first goal.

I hope he appreciates me liking him.

Sadly yes. Really liked him at West Ham though.

Took him too long to mature and he still isn't professional enough as shown today. I have a soft spot for him though. I like nutcases in football. Everyone's too generic these days.

I'm not disagreeing that some of the Southgate hysteria is over the top. Only the notion that because he was a player he knows more about football than anyone else.

It infers that anybody who played the game can't be criticised as a manager by mere supporters. Southgate doesn't deserve some of the criticism he receives, but at the same time he hasn't done anything to be immune from criticism either.

He seems an excellent man manager and builds a great team spirit which is a real plus for England. But he's super conservative and lacks balls.

Phillips was okay, not sure why the sudden rave but yeah he was better than Rice today. Fred has put in equally good performances for us like these if not better especially in Europe when we all label him as a beast/monster

I rate him highly and at times love watching him play but he does fancy himself as Zlatan, doesn’t he? He even has a little ponytail after him
