I think Italy are my favourite team to watch this Euros. Strange, never used to enjoy watching old Italian teams.

Dosen't look like many groups where 3 points will be enough to qualify. Looks like Portugal going out if they lose to France.

Wales lucky not to be 2 or 3 nil down . Hoping that Switzerland get at least another goal - it seems that Italy aren't done scoring here.

it's already bad enough to come here and lose all 3 games, but not to score a single goal as well is something else. Turkey are simply embarrasing.

What happens if that's equal too? Draw lots?
Switzerland finish second due to superior UEFA ranking. Interestingly, it would've been penalties if the last game was Wales-Switzerland.

If Italy win this 3-0 and the Swiss result remains the same, second/third is decided on yellow cards.
The welsh have it currently with 3 against Switzerland's 4.

Not sure how that group draw was even possible when you look at the state of the other ones. None even have 2 big teams in them, not sure how one group managed to get 3.

I had forgotten how good Veratti can be. Wales are struggling to lay a glove on him.

Verratti is just sublime.

Love watching this Italian team. They are like a rolls Royce, they just seem so smooth and fluid

Joe Morrell can barely get in the Luton team so no surprise he's chasing shadows.

Italy are just brilliant at shifting the ball from side to side with ease and at pace, probably better than France at doing that so will take some performance to beat them in knock outs I reckon.

Good from set pieces aswell which is also crucial in major tournament.

Verratti just pure class. Italy keep the ball so well.

Going on to not get stuffed by too many would be a great result (so would Turkey finally doing something/anything).

Wouldn't be impossible to sneak past Ukraine or Austria in the round of 16, but I can't see us troubling any of the group winners we'd have to face if going through as a third place team.

Struggling today, some really lax defending.

I'd go with 4 at the back and Kieffer up top to give us a target to aim at.

I think Page is keeping him off the field so he doesn't get another yellow card for heading the ball and have to miss the first knockout round. Not like he's likely to give Bonucci massive amounts of trouble anyway.

Chiesa on the right impressing as well.
He's had it very easy there. Facing two right footed players who were expecting to face a Berardi/Bernadeschi cut in merchant, so he can just breeze past their weaker side and stick in a cross every time.

Italy so far showing the sorts of things United need to get better at. They’ve played brilliant stuff all tournament, and showed that keeping the ball and controlling a game is not the opposite of attacking football. Wales can’t do that, for example, and their plan is to try and ‘release the pace of James’. We have better players, but some similarities to the extent of our ideas too.
