Haven’t they already got over 1bn in loans? Who the feck is giving them even more money? Sweet Jesus.
They have immediate payments to make soon so looks to me like they're just repaying current debt with different debt at better rates.

Imagine getting a 500 million pound loan on 3% interest. The rich just live by their own rules, don't they.
That's above prime actually. Rates are very low at the moment.

If they manage this well, they'll likely make money off of it considering real rates are negative.

We only need a proper tweet to confirm this.
This is a today tweet from an informal Juve insiders outlet, but it signals that whispers have a wheel maybe and that I did not make up my yesterday post. :) It basicalky adds that Juve would like a Bellerin swap or something with him in.

Their source is Fantacalcio.it, which I don't find to be a reliable source, even if they are owned by Sky Italy. Previously, Il BiancoNero reported this story, but no reliable source in Italy has linked Ramsey to Arsenal. So far, all we know that Juve have put Ramsey up for sale.

Now that'll be a slap in the face to AC Milan.
Losing him for free to their cross city rivals will surely stink, but I don't think Italians mind players moving to rivals as much as in England. The likes of Zlatan, Baggio, Ronaldo, Vieri, Pirlo, Crespo etc all played for both Milan clubs and many other big names have played for either/both of them and Juventus as well.

You're right, there won't be too much bad blood, but Calhanoglu was one of Milan's most important players. The fact that they're looking to replace him with Zaccagni is a bit of a worry, especially since Bennacer will become their only creative midfielder.

They are trying to sign Brahim Diaz permanently, no? Could also indicate a change of system with Tonali given more playmaking responsibilities and perhaps an emphasis on inside forwards with Hague and Leao.

Yeah, but none of them are particularly creative players. They'll be heavily reliant on Bennacer to play incisive passes as the rest are either dribblers or goalscorers. I can see them going long to Ibra more often and then fighting for the second balls as well as playing on the counter.

I hope for Milan's sake it doesn't come to that and they can find some alternatives. Going long to a near 40 year old doesn't sound like a sustainable strategy to challenge for the title. :nono:

That's right, di Marzio reported that they're looking at him because of Eriksen's uncertain future.

Also, @King7Eric, in relation to our conversation:
Haha right on cue with the Diaz news. Also, interesting if they want Odriazola. That would suggest they don't want/ are not getting Dalot back.

Yeah, that probably indicates our resistance to yet another loan for Dalot. Either that, or they're looking for additional options given that Dalot may not be cheap. Still, Dalot offers them some much-needed backup at left back, which Odriozola wouldn't.

This isn't a surprise given that Tomiyasu can play as both a centre back and right back. Bologna have turned down Atalanta's offer of 15 million Euros plus 3 million Euros in bonuses. Atalanta could increase their offer to 20 million Euros (bonuses included).

Additional info:
  • Odriozola is an alternative to Dalot, who they're looking to get on loan with a purchase option.
    • Talks are open between Milan and Real Madrid.
  • Milan want Junior Firpo on loan from Barcelona as a Théo backup.
    • Barcelona are not keen on loaning him out.
  • The fees have yet to be decided upon for Brahim Díaz, but the clubs have agreed on a loan with a purchase option.

Wasn't this guy and his father basically pleading with Arsenal to let him go home as he was homesick?

Italy isn't exactly Uruguay now is it? He looked a decent player in his first year at Arsenal, but his attitude seemingly stinks, more pampered "stars" unwilling to put in the graft to succeed - its a wonder how some of these footballers make it to begin with.

Gianluca Busio is one of the most promising American talents around. I'm not surprised that Sassuolo are interested in him though they've yet to submit a formal offer.

He's always wanted to go back to Italy from the reports going back a couple of years and that's where he's spent most of his playing career. Not homesick for Uruguay but you could say a home from home in italy. Nothing wrong with not liking London or England and wanting a different life with your football, career. Shame for Arsenal more homework wasn't done, he's been upfront early on about not liking London.

Pretty sure his father came out with his son wanting to go back to South America? Maybe I misread that.

Your second point is fair, but to publicly cry about it effectively reducing his value when a club has paid 26m for you and don't even put in an official transfer request isn't the best way to garner sympathy.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is working out how to re-align his squad for next season and one of the areas he is looking at is full-back.

It looks like Brandon Williams, who has a contract to 2024, will be going out on loan.

Meanwhile, the future of Diogo Dalot is uncertain.

United have already rejected a loan request from AC Milan because it did not contain an obligation to buy.

Solskjaer likes Dalot and has kept in touch with him all year, including since his recent call-up to the Portugal Euro 2020 squad.

It is possible Dalot could stay at Old Trafford next season. Equally, Solskjaer might try and use the 22-year-old, who still has two years left on his present deal, to generate revenue for other transfer targets.

United have inquired about Kieran Trippier but are way off Atletico Madrid's asking price, which is thought to be around 40m Euros
.

Another one who should've gone on loan this season just gone. Instead he stayed and got 187 PL minutes.

id walk away, assuming no one else is interested at those figures. then leave it Sancho to kick up a fuss, which would impacts dortmunds credibilty as a stepping stone club and might give the likes of Haaland something to think about.
