Hopefully a sign of more to come from Maguire with regards scoring from set pieces , for such a strong player in the air he usually converts very little of his chances in the opposition box.

Team looks very well drilled. So many progressive passes today, Im impressed. Martial also looks rusty. Understandable as he hasn't played in 4 months. I hope he can get back in shape before leeds.

One negative I will say is we haven't really had clear cut chances. 2 set pieces and 1 mistake. Need James to be more creative on the ball becasue he has had the most attacking runs so far.

Martial wasn't great but keep in mind he hasn't had as much preparation as the others. Even the ones who were at the Euros will be at higher fitness than him.

Pogba on. Hopefully in midfield.

Sadly Mata coming on too. Nothing against him but this game should be reserved for players who will actually be playing imo

Great first half performance.

We've looked very comfortable on the ball and attacked well and at pace.

Everton haven't offered much, although there's been some dangerous balls put into the box that, if they'd had Calvert Lewin there, would have been great opportunities for him. Fortunately their false #9's haven't taken advantage of them.

The only player whose been pretty quiet and off the pace is Martial, but that's understandable given it's his first game since March. Good to see him back and getting some much needed game time.

I was worried Donny was headed for another poor game with a lot of backwards passes, that time he lost his man in the box and a poor tackle when he had to recover someone's hospital pass. Happy to see he grew into the game with some nice passes around the 30 minute mark. Positioned himself quite well throughout, especially considering he was quite isolated with Matic dropping a lot and Bruno staying high.

I don't mind Martial's anonymity. He just came back from a knee injury.

James is ... unskilled. Makes you wonder Ole is just keeping him, because he's "his" signing.

Very promising from the team so far, Everton don’t seem to be at it yet, their supporters would probably be wanting more effort without the ball. Pickford is looking really rusty, most of our boys are playing well though Martial looks like he needs some more matches to get himself into the groove.
Nah, Pickford is shite. We're lucky he hasn't injured any of our players yet.
