Messi Neymar Mbappe - MNM

Looking forward to seeing this threesome blossom this year. As I remember it took a while for Messi, Suarez and Neymar to gel and I imagine this trio will adapt far quicker than them. We should be looking at a combined goals of at least 100+ from them if they all manage to stay relatively healthy. How do you all see them working?

Hopefully a few wow moments but it would be funny all the same if it fails spectacularly and the season is littered with in-fighting and pettiness

I’m excited to watch them play together for a year. That’s a lot of speed and skill around Messi; it’s going to take a disciplined side to knock them out of the champions league this year with all that fire power.

I predict loads of goals in Ligue 1 but they will be far too selfish to work as soon as they meet decent opposition.

Im not sure about Mbappe but selfish was one of the last words you’d use to describe MSN when they played together.

Where they’ll struggle though is a lack of work rate and that’ll probably end up being their undoing against better opponents

That front 3 is one of those with the highest potential ever. Even if they're just the sum of their parts, they will be incredible and even more so if they actually click and function as a unit. However there's obviously room for failure when 3 superstars are put in one team and Mbappé's attitude might be a problem here - Messi and Neymar will work together, as we've already seen in recent history. It's very important to fit Mbappé in.

Suarez provided the workrate in that trio.

Messi will set up plenty of chances up for both of them.
Neymar will still be a show pony.
Mbappe's close control and decision making will still let him down.

For a top class defender i don't think they look too difficult, relative to their ability. You know Mbappe's first instinct is to take you on using his pace, but he will let the ball get a distance away from him. You know Neymar will always try to beat you before he thinks about passing. They're both exceptionally talented but all too predictable at PSG. Axel Tuanzebe, who lets face it is not a very good defender, had them in his pocket.

The unknown is Messi and what he will bring. Will we get the lazy version on a retirement tour, or will a new environment reignite the fire in him.

Looking forward to seeing them and Di Maria in tears when they're dumped out in the CL

In Ligue 1 they are gonna drop bombs, and the whole crowd will go so loud, but in the CL they will snap back to reality and choke.

Don't think it will be as good as MSN. Messi is past his prime, it will still be exciting to watch though.

Be great to watch them fail spectacularly and see all the plastic glory hunting PSG fans / owners crying uncontrollably

By wonder goals from Mason and Cavani, after Pogba and Bruno make their midfield look like chumps, and Harry, Rafa and super Luke Shaw shut them down

Jokes aside, I think there's like 4-5 teams that can easily knock them out, United being one of them. So fingers crossed you've just seen the future

Yeah Pochs biggest test is convincing Mbappe and Neymar to put a shift in to compensate for Messi’s lack of work rate.

I’d assume we’ll be seeing a back 5 in games and the midfield anchored by Verratti and Wijnaldum.

Tbh I agree. Although they have a strong front 3, I don't think the overall strength of their best first 11 is all that strong. I think both us, Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Bayern could knock them out.

These type of dream partnerships rarely work because even if you have the ludcrious money to get them all, egos will get in the way. The very best guys typically are egomaniacs and thrive on being the main men at their clubs and any similar level players coming in is huge ego hit to them, and therefore will want to leave.

Won't be seeing it tonight anyway as there's no Messi or Neymar in the squad for Brest. Expected really but there will be serious disappointment. Some tickets locally were reselling for 400 euro for this game, and the Messi hype was surely part of that.

Not too mention the seven guys that will have run 10 miles a game in order to press and defend in order to compensate for these three.

Talented rapper who’s material is by and largely terrible

do adults listen to “the real slim shady” & “without me” in 2021?

Because it was novelty music even then

Listen to this every morning after waking up.
