Mason asking for a transfer as he is not getting playing time
Hannibal, Elanga, Diallo doing a Pogba and going off to Dortmund or Juve or Leipzig
We are going backwards not forwards. I have followed United since the early fifties and apart from when we were relegated I cannot remeber a time when I felt we were making so many mistakes as now, given the money were are spending

There's literally nothing better for Mason, Diallo, and Elanga than learning from Ronaldo for a year or two. I do agree that Ole is a coward and Lingard should be excommunicated. James is a decent squad player but shouldn't ever start. Martial should be gone. Ole was already starting Martial over giving youth a chance, so it won't reduce game time at all. Cavani out half the season to play for Urugay.

Not really sure how it's a mistake. Seems like the people who are against this transfer have some outdated view that we're still able to win trophies like our rivals. We need winners in the squad. Sentimentality towards youth is irrelevant if they don't learn how to win anyways.

Still in shock here, the wee lad and I were resigned to him joining city (he was not even born when Ronnie was last here and he was still his favourite player) so amazed Utd have pulled this off.

Big shout to The A-Team of Alex 'Hannibal' Ferguson, Rio 'BA' Ferdinand , Ole 'face man' Solkjaer and of course 'howling mad' Murtough for getting this over the line.

The marketing value of this will be huge for the club.

Oh yes and mugging off City in the process was the cherry on top.:lol:

Not convinced that CR's the missing piece to win the PL or the CL, but really who cares?

Football's not about plastic clubs stockpiling all the best players in the world just because they can, it's not about money laundering or sportswashing, it's not even just about winning.

It's more than that. It's about the emotion, the excitement, the ups and the downs, the romance.

Can't wait to see Cristiano running out at a packed Old Trafford for the first time (again), the crowd reaction and the camera panning to Sir Alex and the smile on his face.

Still averaging almost 1 goal (0.9x) per 90 min in the last 2 seasons in all comps. Madness. Such number is what youd expect out of a top forward during his peak. Not when hes 36.
