Very lucky to win this, but obviously we'll take it. De Gea was exceptional, Varane also brilliant. Looks like our defence might be stable for once.

Sancho was trash, not sure if he was unfit or just being a coward but I hope he kicks into gear soon.

We desperately need to sign a midfielder. Fred is an appalling starter.

How the feck? Not that I'm complaining. We need McTominay back yesterday. Our midfield, and I use that term very lightly, looks completely lost without him.

Dreadful performance.

Varane was class and well done Greenwood.

But surely surely this group of players should be capable of better than that sort of slop? We see it far too much.

We desperately need a midfielder, its just sad to watch.

Smash and grab. Ugly ugly win. Jadon not sharp still needs time. Pogba should start on the left. Fred needs dropping. Think VDB’s done without ever getting started. DDG is first choice. Varane looks pretty good. James needs to be sold. Greenwood is our next superstar.

Great win considering the circumstances... the circumstances being, we were nullified and bullied away from home in a very familiar style.

Bit of a steal but doesn't matter.

7 out of 9 points is a decent start to the season.

Ugly win. Thanks for Greenwood. How can Fred be a Brazilian and Utd player is beyond me. If recycling the football alone can earn so much money. I will tell my son just to focus on 5-10 feel pass. Can anyone come in a make an offer for Fred?

Where did those fans get that cardboard cut out of Ronaldo and is there one of Varane? Asking for a friend.

Varane, De Gea, Greenwood has been the standout performer in this game

Bruno, Sancho, James are the worst of the bunch

Fred and Pogba DM partnership is so unconvincing. Pogba should as left side attacking midfielder.

Even when we win, i often come away frustrated. And it shouldnt be like that.

I honestly dont understand how that much talent can play so badly. It has to be the coaching, i mean it has to be, what else could it be?.

I'm sure we will get better as the season goes on but feck me, we have problems, BIG problems.
It was a very hard game and wolves deserve a lot of credit I’m not even remotely frustrated. I’m delighted with that, really feels like a big 3 points

that double save from De Gea was something else. AWB with a goal line block at the start too.

Poor game, good result. Better second half though.

Man like De Gea! That's one of those important games we would have dropped points in...

3 in 3 for Greenwood?

So this group of United players and management has broken the unbeaten away record, remarkable!

As Hard earned win as you can see in the PL and big thank you to Wan-Bissaka for his goal line clearance and DeGea double save for that.

On to Newcastle next and the return of the king Ronaldo

Wolves with all that bluster did feck all. When we started gaining the upper hand, despite their rampant kicking and fouling, they started diving because they ran out of steam. Hope they don't score for another few matches, overrated.

Days like these is why we need Varane and Maguire. You have to get through them and thanks to them, we did.

I'll take it but Christ that was dreadful viewing. I can't imagine a midfielder, even if he's world class, will fix everything we've seen today. For long periods we looked unable to string two passes together, like 11 strangers who aren't particularly good at football either.

Greenwood 3 out of 3 though, so that's nice.

If we are going to play Pogba in the midfield role, we need a younger version of Matic to play alongside him. Somone who is there purely defensively so that Pogba can play a little further ahead.
First half today, Pogba was stuck too deep and Fred was going ahead of him. Once Pogba started to move ahead in the second half, we looked much better.

Everyone's talking about Bruno, Sancho and Ronaldo, Rashford. But Greenwood silently is the biggest superstar in the making, and the one I'm most excited to watch this season. That's two games he's saved us blushes now.

Pathetic first half from the coach and the players. Better in the second half, probably because Wolves cooled off a bit. DDG with that incredible set of saves, basically turned the game for us.

Does anyone seriously believe that we're challenging for that title with a performance like that? Forget the result. That was abysmal. Shapeless and hopeless. I only hope the break gives us a chance to sort ourselves out.

Buzzing with the points but damn we were so lucky.

Not gonna harp on but it’s so obvious that Dan James isn’t at this level and a 2 man midfield of Fred and Pogba would struggle Ole needs to get his team selection right.

De Gea what a fecking save!

I thought Pogba really grew into the game into the 2nd half
