Three is no way Noble doesnt have a phone full of Moss' nude photos. How the hell does he not give us a pen
Noble's got a strong stomach if he can stand to look at nude photos of Moss

Not playing bad just lacking that cutting edge.. sachi martial lingard are too similar.
Although you could say that’s part of the reason they seem to be linking up nicely, but agree that someone like Cavani or Ronaldo would love the amount of crosses coming in.

Decent first half performance. Unlucky to be behind but paid the price for a slow start.

    Donny, Mata, Matic tidy.

Sancho not sharp enough, Martial not accurate enough.

    Telles sloppy.
I wonder how long we give Sancho before we start getting slightly worried.

Donny and Matic are looking good. Mata, Sancho and Lingard has been playing shit. Martial has been okey.

Anyone complaining about today's game needs to get their heads checked. Been a brilliant game to watch so far. Hope We maintain the same intensity in second half as well.

It's frustrating that it always takes us to concede to start playing well. Since we conceded, we've played quite well. Defending was awful for their goal, though. Telles got beat and VDB left his man free in the box. I don't understand why we're trying to cross it into the box. We have nobody in there to win any headers.

I was hoping that Bruno and Mason wouldn't have to play, but Ole will throw them on if we can't get one before 60 minutes.

I love Mata but at this point he should gracefully retire and start his coaching/ambassadorial role with us. There's no reason to be playing him at a position we're already well stacked in or have bright prospects that can occupy it. Hope to see Elanga get some minutes and not just coming on for the last 10. If we go out tonight that might be the last chance someone like him gets for some substantial first team minutes this season.

This gives me PTSD tbh

But imo not a bad match, I expected worse. We've been playing pretty well but lacking the cutting edge of our top players.

I mean it wasn’t good. None of these guys really look at all close to pushing their way into our first Xi and our play is a bit all over the place. Some good link up and some dodgy refereeing, but if this excites anyone I really wonder what they are watching.

can’t believe they’re blaming VDB for that

the ball was falling right into his position but it took a deflection off lindelofs leg and fell perfectly. idiots.

Incredibly bad start, reminiscent of last season.

But I thought we stepped it up well. There's a big danger we'll concede a counter with this cobbled together defence but I think we're threatening quite well.

I've genuinely enjoyed the game. Appart from the opening minutes, its been very solid.

Think Elanga can do some damage here. Ole probably subs on Bruno, Greenwood and Elanga during the 2nd period to get something

Doing decent and he played a similar team to what I would have done.

Think the only thing Ole night have got wrong is the bench

Should have brought more firepower for this situation. Would be a disaster to go out in our first round

Well I quite enjoyed that. Donny and Matic both good, Jesse lively, flashes from Sancho. Lacking a cutting edge but I remain sanguine about our chances.

Really? He's been our weak link in midfield tbh. Just seems to fire in wayward crosses no one is getting at the end of. VDB and Matic have been better IMO.
Think he's been really good on the ball, to be honest, and also providing some excellent movement.

Seen the past few pages and agree donny has been tidy. He is sharper and more direct than Fred, so he is working well towards getting more game time

Shocking defending for the goal, No one within 5 yds of the scorer - Telles positional play looked shocking on other WHU attacks.
Our second string defence looks very very ring rusty.

DVB played well but guilty of ball watching for their goal, could he be an answer to our DM issues. Matic done ok, Mata a couple of decent strikes but knocked of the ball easily on other occasions..

expect to see some subs on 2nd half. Greenwood for Mata maybe as a starter.

I've missed most of that first half and busy with work. How are VDB and Sancho getting on?
VdB played well, Sancho was a bit underwhelming. Couple of nice moments when he seemed to come alive but still looking like a guy who's coming to terms with a new club.
