Liverpool will win it i think. Looking like the team that won it comfortably two years ago.
We don't look like the team that won it two seasons ago. City do look like the team that won it last season though. And that's probably good enough for them to blow away the lesser teams better than us and Chelsea. :(

City the team to beat , again, established side get results when not at there best, and stuff teams when they are. City , pool , Chelsea, UTD. Top 4 in that order but 4th about 15 points behind or more. Hope I'm wrong can't see anything else

If Liverpool had spent on depth this summer, I’d say this is going to be a proper title race and I’d think they’d be my favourites but just feel they’re too thin when you compare to Abu Dhabi.

Liverpool rely hugely on three players, one was missing today and it had a massive affect.

So refreshing to hear Klopp talk the tactics of the game but posters in here will tell you managers don't discuss tactics when defending Ole's inability.

You might be right, Ole will probably be foolish enough to trust him even though Pogba's heart isn't 100% in with Manchester United. This might be the big mistake that Ole make's this season. I'm guessing he's wondering if this difficult decision might cost him his job.

Personally, I don't trust or believe in Pogba. I hope he rides the bench until he signs or leaves.
If he rides the bench then there is no chance of him signing an extension. You may as well as say I hope he fecks off

Quality game of football that was. Mad to think we're only a point behind Liverpool and equal with city.
It certainly has something do do with their runs and yours which was definitely easier until now.

Is there a single Premier League player in history who gets more mileage from referees than James fecking Milner?

He would literally have to Ben Thatcher someone to get sent off.

You can see referees reaching for their pocket and then retracting them on seeing the slightly neanderthal, wincing features. 'It's alright Milsie; I didn't realise it was you hacking away again. On you go now.'

So City have the Chelsea Away, Liverpool Away, Leicester Away and Tottenham Away game done and are 3rd at 2 points from the 1st.
I think they will steamroll their way to the title again.

I know this game as good as some of the best...

Players are either in 100% and their dedicated beyond the grim facts that might test their resolve. Bruno is that example at united.

Pogba has been problematic throughout. At this point if people don't see him as a liability, let's talk this coming Summer transfer window. We either deal with this shit now or pay the price.
If Ole is serious about building a team that takes in titles, this issue needs to be resolved.

Now, I'm gonna get back to watching my On Demand recordings of the Saprano's :p
This is the wrong discussion for this thread anyhow

Some of the best what ? Take Mbappe for example, he's gonna leave on a free and it hasn't been a problem for him to perform at 100% of his ability so far. For any example, there is a counter example.
There are tons of players who end up having 1 year left on their contract and still are used and trusted by their managers.
I just have this simple question for you, if the man is charge, the one who's had the most information about Pogba's state of mind, commiment and professionalism, has had no issue using him as well he deems fit, why is it that of an issue to you ?
I'd want clarity with this situation too tbh but I also look at the interactions between Pogba and his teammates, Pogba and Ole and so far nothing suggests a hint of him being a bad pro.

So him stating at the beginning of the window he wanted a midfielder was him choosing to to reinforce?
Link to him saying this? I never saw it. And well over the years he has prioritised other areas. Some could definitely be argued where not needed as much.

As I said...
And as Pogba has clearly stated in the past, his mood is guided by each week's performance. He can't be trusted

Let's just carry this on in the Manchester United Player forum, tomorrow

Fernandinho?
Milner should've been sent off, but it did make me chuckle that City were the team complaining about it.

They played 3-5-2 yesterday but they have used a lot of systems, even 4-4-2. They switch and change all the time. Fredrik Ljungberg said yesterday that it's very difficult to prepare for a game against Brighton because you never know which system they will use, so you have to focus more on your own game plan.
What would potter achieve with the players at utd ?

Although some say that its easier to manage avg players to play in a system compared to top players with big egos unless the manager is a top dog himself with silverware.
