Zidane. If he doesn’t want it then Blanc? Whoever. But it’s clear Ole can’t continue.

Sack him, appoint any caretaker till summer, literally anyone will give us some boost till end of the season at least.

We fecked up with Conte, and fecked up it badly.

I would say Ragnick or Favre would be the best options right now, to finish the season. Go all in for ten Hag in the summer, and if that is not possible, make a deal with Enrique to come here immediately after the World Cup.

If nothing works, I wouldn’t mind Rodgers or Brighton manager.

Amongst footballing managerial 'Gods'
Get Howe before Newcastle as caretaker or blanc. Any decent manager can be a caretaker. Then get Pochettino or ten hag in the summer. It seems this season is already been written off which is embarrassing. Pochettino is the only manager at a top club that has beaten Manchester city this season so far and has forced them to play counter attacking football, which many has never done before against a pep side. Pochettino vs Manchester city in the champion league last season needs to be re analyzed to realize why he should be our top choice. People also keep saying ten hag, but Pochettino also schooled him last season.

The other side of it is, are we a viable or an attractive proposition for an out-of-work manager? On paper, its tricky imo:

- Squad imbalanced
- Inexperienced backroom staff
- Club in general, in disarray (fans hate owners etc)
- Some big names who will always play
- Fan expectations out of sync (debatable as always...)

Obvious flip-side is the quality in the squad, but its not as easy as it seems.

Blanc, Hughes or Bruce on an interim basis or make a play for Rodgers to step in on a permanent basis. We cannot continue on like this.

Poch is the one but that ship has sailed....

Ten Hag from Ajax maybe.
Conte was the man but, again, another ship!!!

I’ve been a strong advocate for OGS but alas, it’s time he has to go!
The team is all over the place.

Blanc could be an option

There's not much, seems Zidane is not interested from most of the reports. A lot of managers have recently moved and others probably won't want to move mid season. I really fear we're going slide quite far down if we keep Ole.

The board is keen on Poch but that's not going to happen for a while

1) not good enough
2) have to do better
3) happen many times already
4) not similiar level with city
5) everyone has to look at themselves

Brunos analysis of the game.

It's only just November. We should be looking for something better than just a caretaker.
Bar Zidane who going off reports isn’t too keen on the job there isn’t a stand out candidate that’s currently available and isn’t already at a club. The obvious choice was Conte but the board have fecked up yet again and watched him go and join Spurs because they’re a bunch of dithering fecking idiots.

Just get Potter in and get it over with. He'll surely accept whatever contract we throw at him and we can assess again in the summer if we need to.

I find Ten Hag quite exciting, but assume he wouldn’t be free until summer?

Egg on the face. They let Conte go and now what? He will easily take them to top 4.

So we go and get someone at a club then. I don't see why now is different to the Summer. Anyone suddenly available that wasn't before has likely been sacked...

We've witnessed the danger of a caretaker first hand. An upturn in results and then they end up the keeping the job.

Draw up a list of who you want. Work down that list until you get one. Easy.

Anyone with more than 3 years vision would be somekind of upgrade. Unfortunately Glazers buying time every 3 years is good enough tactic.

If Ole gets sacked might aswell say, see you in next 3 years... It's what it is.

Caretaker until the end of season, then Ten Hag or Marco Rose.If they won't come, try for Luis Enrique after the world cup.

Should go after Ten Hag even if he can't come now. Make the contract with him and find someone (Butt?) to run the team until the end of the season.

The difference is the season isn’t on going in the summer. There’s a reason managers very rarely switch clubs mid season, it’s generally frowned upon and almost an unwritten rule between clubs you don’t poach each others managers during a season. I’m not saying it can’t happen and I would love to see us hire Ten Hag right now but I just don’t think it will. Rodgers is the only manager I can think of recently that’s done it.

I’d be very surprised, think the chances are about the same as us winning the title this season.

Be an interesting fit though!
I was with you. But let’s be honest it’s the best league in the world with the best managers. Money should talk in this situation. However it depends how much United want to push it.

It was only 2weeks ago Conte didn’t want to return to management mid season and would only change his mind for United. £20m later…. It didn’t matter.

What about Paulo Fonseca? Its strange that he was linked with the Tottenham and Newcastle job and got none..
