At the point where hoping we lose isn't just understandable, it's the right position.

Club deserves nothing but failure when it acts like this. Just deserts.

I knew that we have lots of rival fans here but at least we know now that we have exactly 440 of them.
441th is @UnitedSofa . (Sorry man, i mean nothing bad;))

Look I support the guy, I just think we’re in a bad place, a very bad place, the fan base is toxic, the feeling around the club is torrid, the confidence is at an all time low.

Do I think he’s got it in him to turn it around? Probably not.

Am I going to support him/the club until the very end of his tenure? Yes.

United gave Solskjaer a new three-year contract in the summer after a second-place finish and a run to the Europa League final. They followed that up by securing assistant manager Mike Phelan on a similar deal, while talks continue with coaches Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna about contract extensions.

Wait, he's saying they're going to give Carrick and McKenna new contract extensions as well.

If I don't laugh, I'll cry.

This is beyond tragic now.

Zidane IS still unemployed you know. We could have Rangnick too. It's not about who could be the wrong person for us, it's about removing the one who clearly is.
And a lot of people arn’t convinced Zidane is the right manager. We need a manager who can work with the team, atcually train the team to function as an attacking unit making it more than just a load of talented players who can occasionally pull out a moments of magic. The critism of Zidane has always been his teams seemed like a group of individuals who knew how to win and turn it on in big games Rather than a incredibly coached team like a Pep team at its best or Klopp team at its best. Zidanes methods were of course incredibly successful but when you looked at that Madrid you talk about the great players rather than the great style of play and so that leaves a massive uncertainty as to how good a manager is Zidane, and we won’t know that until his next job. And that’s why know one has snapped him up yet.

I agree Ole is not the right manger but we need to make sure the next appointment is the right appointment. Just because a manager isn’t the right manager doesn’t mean you can’t make things worse appointing a different manager
For me we will have far more options at the end of season and so rushing it 2 save 1 season isn’t the way to go.

Yet, while winning the Premier League for the first time since 2013 was an aspiration, the key target this season - as with all the big clubs - is a top-four finish and qualification for next season's Champions League.
I can't believe what I'm reading. He's saying the key target this season was top 4 finish ?

Feck the feck off. I was better not knowing this article existed.

Nevermind, it's an article on BBC.

Well that's it. He's staying. We're a shambolic club so nothing surprises me.
A former coach at Bayern Munich, Ten Hag declined to leave Ajax to return to Munich part way through a campaign when Hansi Flick got the job in 2019. It would not seem Ten Hag would be the easiest immediate appointment either for United.

I'm not watching another game until he's gone. This is pathetic. I'll just be a casual fan like I was for Jose's last few weeks

Get a caretaker till the end of the season, you know, like what Ole himself was when we sacked Mourinho. Enough of this terrible excuse. The team needs a change to save the season.

Looks like things are going to have to get very toxic again before these clowns pull the trigger. if he’s lost the players already and the fans are starting to turn on him then persisting with him is utterly pointless, things are going to deteriorate very quickly.

As long as he still gets applause at Old Trafford, I doubt anything will change.

I’m not so sure he’s safe. Every board has a breaking point. I don’t think it’s that far away if the poor results and performances continue which seems very likely to me.

As I’ve said before, the board have nothing to gain by saying they might sack him; they’ve got to keep making all the right noises of support etc until they’re ready to actually sack him. Then they will just do it rather than talk about it.

This level of incompetence is criminal almost feels like intentional sabotage. Utter garbage coming from the Muppets running the club, they recognize that he is beyond his depth but remain indecisive like their almost willing him to ruin us further.

It seems the club are saying nothing, no briefings of him been sacked, but nothing about him been backed either.

Not a healthy situation if this continues into this coming week.

It would be brave to state definitively that Solskjaer was safe given international breaks are notoriously a time when clubs get rid of managers - Aston Villa, Norwich and Middlesbrough have already done so since their weekend games finished.

But, to the incredulity and bewilderment of many observers, he could well survive.

Cannot believe what I'm reading. Disgraceful article penned by the board's main mouthpiece. You are witnessing the club trying to twist the reality of our situation before your very eyes. This club is rotten to its very core.

You will never know if an appontment is the right one before you have tried it. If it doesnt work, move on until you find the right one. Ole is 100% not the right one so sticking with him is a disaster waiting to happend.

I'm at the point where I'm beginning to actively dislike him. And he was one of my favourite players during his playing days here. Ugh. I hate this board.

This makes me laugh, as though we’re going to give the heads up to the social media team that he’s being sacked when no journalists are seemingly in the know
