Just posted on United's Instagram profile. He's clearly not going anywhere.

I'm sorry but this guy just isn't likeable anymore. It takes some serious level of delusional to potter around like nothings happening after getting battered by our two biggest rivals. This is much worse than Moyes or any other of our hirings post SAF. He's untouchable and he knows it.

This makes me laugh, as though we’re going to give the heads up to the social media team that he’s being sacked when no journalists are seemingly in the know
Well, all of the club's social media accounts were silent 2-3 days after the Liverpool game, which I don't think was a coincidence. I don't think the social media team have carte blanche to post whatever they want.

It means nothing.

All the stats we’ve seen over the last few days show what a sorry state the team is in and are consistent with a team who rarely wins and looks unconvincing when it does win.

The “faith” the board is showing by not having sacked him yet will soon run out if things don’t improve. And I’m looking at all the evidence of the last six months and I just don’t think we are going to improve.

And a lot of people arn’t convinced Zidane is the right manager. We need a manager who can work with the team, atcually train the team to function as an attacking unit making it more than just a load of talented players who can occasionally pull out a moments of magic. The critism of Zidane has always been his teams seemed like a group of individuals who knew how to win and turn it on in big games Rather than a incredibly coached team like a Pep team at its best or Klopp team at its best. Zidanes methods were of course incredibly successful but when you looked at that Madrid you talk about the great players rather than the great style of play and so that leaves a massive uncertainty as to how good a manager is Zidane, and we won’t know that until his next job. And that’s why know one has snapped him up yet.

I agree Ole is not the right manger but we need to make sure the next appointment is the right appointment. Just because a manager isn’t the right manager doesn’t mean you can’t make things worse appointing a different manager
For me we will have far more options at the end of season and so rushing it 2 save 1 season isn’t the way to go.
We can never ensure the next person is the right person. If by right person you mean someone who builds an empire ala SAF then that's never going to happen because modern football is too intense for such stories to pan out. No single club will dominate for decades anymore. But if by right person you mean that someone who can win some trophies and make us relevant once again then we should take the risk. Hiring and firing managers is the norm now if clubs want to remain successful. See Madrid, Bayern, Barca, Chelsea etc. Not a single club wants to fade away while chasing improbable scenarios.

I refuse to write off yet another season fearing that things can become worse than they are now. In fact we need the new manager bounce now more than ever. We need to freshen things up, new ideas, new people, new training and tactics. Chelsea went for Tuchel and succeded in salvaging a season which seemed doomed. No reason a new manager can't get something out of the remaining months.

To what "we we're" hopefully by we he means United as a whole club in their history and not as "we a couple of months ago" since it's clear he thinks that somehow was good enough.

Spineless scum on the board propping up their stooge.

No amount of PR spin and media relations are saving your abysmal reputation Ed. You're a joke. Just like your guy Ole.

I’m going with the same hope I did after the Liverpool game. There were no leaks that Jose’s sacking was imminent in the days running up to him going and he went on a Tuesday morning following a Sunday game

You are clearly a WUM. 366 appearances, 126 goals. 10 trophies. Whatever you think of his managerial abilities, he was a legend for us in his playing career.
366 appearances playing a role inbetween O’shea and Fletcher did for us. He was never first team for more than a season and his main season was because Andy Cole broke two legs. So let’s not bend the truth.

Whilst top 4 is achievable, he will remain. That’s the incredibly flawed logic of this club. We wait until we’re at an all time low before acting. We will never ‘do a Chelsea’ of last season with our owners.
It’s a myth this one.

We sacked Mourinho way before. LVG made it because we’d clearly done a deal with Mourinho to take over at the end of the season.

The only time it applies was to Moyes, but that had so much to do with Moyes being handed a fuxking 6 year contract and a right load of bollocks just before he signed about ”standing by your manager blah blah blah”.

I feel like I just died inside reading this. Even though I knew these fecking clowns wouldn't do a damn thing.

"We don't want a short term, quick fix manager"...what, to replace the guy hired as a caretaker manager. Idiots. Just absolute fecking idiots the lot of them. They're going to end up causing a big, big fallout with the supporters. This is the lowest point post Fergie by a country mile.

The problem is that little rat Ed Woodward doesn't want to bruise his ego and take another L by admitting Ole has failed. What that simple idiot doesn't realise is that the real failure on his behalf now, is not getting rid.

99% are Ole Out :) not that the board cares of course.

But in all seriousness, it is getting embarrassing really. I do not dislike Ole and he has the right to stay in the job until he is sacked (on the other hand I do not buy and never bought this United DNA bullshit, if a former United man has similar qualifications to the other top choice then give him a nod, sure, but other than that we should hire the best staff available full stop, do not care in the slightest if we have no former United people in coaching staff/DoF efc), so the board are the main culprits of course. But he is so out of his depth it is unreal. Three years and no functioning system/systems is not acceptable. What now - he will go attacking and if we win against Watford he goes full attack against Chelsea? God help us.

I am the most optimistic type of fan, and I have never been more disillusioned by a team that I follow. I never could imagine not wanting to watch United play and I am almost there.

All I hope for is to watch young players do well and hope VDB gets a shot. The rest who f'ing cares. (and for my son to watch Ronaldo score worldies.,...)

Fair enough, I was incorrect. I do remember thinking they were more quiet than usual. But I hope you are right. I hope today's post means nothing and that he's gone in the next few day.

It's always "we'll bounce back" "we'll come back stronger" "we'll do better" for the umpteenth time. Manager and the players.

And now this season we will be 4 years without a trophy. Can't wait to see the back of him.

Have these morons ever looked at how other big clubs are run? And what is this about "academy graduates?"? Mourinho introduced more youth into this club than Ole has.
They haven’t. Neville finally spoke some sense. Our club is run by people who don’t know how to win. They lucked out having Sir Alex squeeze out every bit of potential out of a flawed squad in the later years but these owners haven’t created success with any decisions they’ve made. We’re going to be in the wilderness for several years and we’ll probably got a few decades without winning the league again.

We are dead as a top club with these clowns in charge. RIP.

Mortified. :(
Ole isn't the biggest issue at this club. That alone tells you how bad the situation is.

Glazers and Woodward are ten times more to blame for the last 8 years than Ole is.

Thats the hope I’m clinging onto too. I’m not letting a random, click generating, nothing post kill my optimism that he’s managed his final match for us

Daniel Farke spoke to the media after they won on Saturday and obviously had no idea he was going to be sacked later that night.

Maybe I'm reading into the Instagram post too much but why is he referring to the boys and staff as 'they' and not 'we'?

Didn’t think I’d ever see Moyes have a team ahead of United so comfortably
Don’t you remember Everton finishing ahead of us while he was the manager ? That was embarrassing :wenger:

Well that's that, kiss this season goodbye.

As we were. Can't remember a time under Ole where we were attacking and positive. Struggling to remember. Barring teams that don't sit back and are wide open (Leeds, Roma, Newcastle) or maybe a one off game with an early red card (Southampton).

The majority of his reign has just been a pile of dog shit.

If this thread represents a clear timeline, it looks like the club posted this in conjunction with Simon Stone's article. Ie it's a brief.
I don't have Instagram so can't confirm actual times. But this is typical of our dick head CEO to try to control PR.
