2 weeks to sack him and salvage the season.

Give him and the players and staff a holiday

Expect things to turn around
Amateur, inept, clueless board. We are never going to be anywhere near trophies with the cancer from top to the bottom

Nah that's still a silly avenue of attack. I'm sure he believes completely that he can turn this around. He's almost certainly wrong, and needs to go, but not caring about the club is one of the few criticisms that can't be levelled at him.
He can't be that deluded to think he's the best man for the job. I'm sure he has doubts so at this stage he's putting his own dreams or the money above united's success.

I've wanted him gone since last season but also didn't want the criticism to devolve into "he doesn't care about the club" sort of stuff.

But if he doesn't resign after this, it's fair game imo. Anyone who had any sort of love for the club and any sort of personal stanards would leave.
Don't be so naive, he does love the club, but I'm sure he loves his family far more, so with that in mind why would he walk away from the payout he is due to receive by being sacked.

The club got into this mess with giving him the extension and they're going to have to get us out of it by sacking him.

He’s done. It’s one thing to get hammered off of the likes of Liverpool and City even if they’re are main rivals they’re still top quality sides but to get embarrassed against a shite side like Watford is unforgivable.
Agreed
2-1 with a red and a spirited second half and maaaaaybe he survives
But 4-1, gone

Lose in midweek and that’ll be that. I wouldn’t expect any sacking before then personally.
No it won't. glazers will stick with him until the CL money is doubt. So even if we get knocked out of CL (after leading the group) again he still has Europa, won't be until we get knocked out of that.

He signed a near £23m contract over the summer, no way anyone would walk away from that if it meant not getting a payout. You sit tight until they sack you, i don't begrudge him that at all and deserves 100% of it given the inability and lack of direction from the owners of this club.
Gattuso left Milan on mutual consent without taking a single penny. That's what true legends do.

The saddest fact is it could of been 4-0 in the first half if Sarr wasn’t woeful

It's just amazing how incompetent our board are that they couldn't see he'd clearly lost the players over a month ago. We had a perfect international break to sort something out and still they let it come to this. What a clueless bunch of absolute feckwits.

I really don’t get the sympathy for Ole. Earning millions and spending many more millions while embarrassing the club “he loves”.

If he stays after this, he is a prick. Needs to take some responsibility.
Plus Ole doesnt give a flying feck about the saints who defend him.

This stuff is a bit odd. Milan are over the hill and Gatusso can probably move over and manage a club with similar ambition. This is Ole's peak job in his life, he'll never get the opportunity again and financially he's likely on a better deal.
Anyway moot point now, he's going to get sacked.. Right?!

If he loved this club in the slightest he would walk at this point, no need to sack him. He's an embarrassment to us.

For all the things said about the toxic environment Mourinho created, is this much better?
It would never have come to this had the board acted after the Liverpool game.

That we're in this position today is absolutely on them, but the sad thing is everyone will blame Ole for this mess.

When he takes training we get worse, should have been a longer holiday.

Bring it on.

It should have happened 3 weeks ago after the Liverpool game.

If we had been more decisive, Conte would be in charge now

Hm, OK. I don't want to waste your 10 posts but there are plenty of managers out there who can do OK for the season and our board needs a year to get someone in usually anyway.
That's the main worry, doing okay as a stop gap results in the new manager becoming full time in the summer. This board is easily impressed.

A broken team that needs a proper coach right now
Fernandes is burnt out and poorly coached. Likely most players we have signed for us under Ole, he's looked at his best in the first few months following his signing.
