Sacking him isn't the problem. Finding somebody who is a) good enough and b) is available or even wants the job is the problem.

Absolute mess.

Next week home fans will be back to clapping hands for Ole like after the defeats to Liverpool and City game. The board will be back to giving Ole time.

Common sense won’t prevail.

If they make a change this week, I think they’ll wait til after Villarreal as there’s a few days between that one and the Chelsea one.

Personally I think he’ll still be on the touch line for the Chelsea match, although that will obviously be ridiculous
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the board keep him on despite the latest shitshow. At least it will confirm 100% that it's all about the money for them. They're probably silently praying right now that he'll up and quit, sparing them a huge payoff fee.

I hope that's not true.

There will always be a manager who wants to manage our players. The problem is getting a good one.

I cannot understand (though, won't be shocked) how he can manage to not get sacked after this latest complete disaster.

And he can take Maguire with him! Fecking horrible

I want him out ASAP, but let’s not take the piss out of a club legend. Ffs.

he must feel like shit
sorry.... he deserved all the criticism just like the rest of management/board team at this club....

come on... this guy being paid big amount of money to do the job that he certainly not qualified for and you are asking us to cut some slack.......????

As great a player as Ronaldo is, bringing him back in has really destabilised the club, especially Ole.

Ole now looks like a rabbit in the headlights and I genuinely believe that all his plans were turfed out the window once the Ronnie circus rocked up…..don’t think Ole has the strength of character to deal with all these egos

we really really need some strong leadership now
Meh, this blaming our best player this season for everything is getting really boring

If a villa manager had won 1 in 7 and got absolutely battered in most of the losses, including shipping 15 goals in 4 games, he'd be sacked. It wouldn't be a discussion. This has reached a surreal level now. There simply has to be something we don't know about, like a summer deal for somebody, but even then a caretaker now is clearly better than letting this rot go deeper. The quality of attackers we have, the signings not being used, the complete cluelessness as to what to fix as games go on. I cant believe what Im seeing most weeks.

The task of stabilising us a bit was within Solskjaers ability and he did that job fine. The task of making United a title challenging team that dominates games is far far far too big for him and he's gotten worse as a result. He is completely lost.
OGS clearly has nudes of Joel Glazer.

Yeah I'm sure there's not one potential candidate out there thats better than Ole and would take the Manchester United managing job. The bullshit you spout in every thread is something else

Ronaldo and his goals have been the only thing keeping Ole and his wheel at United in the last few weeks

Not sure what will be worse.

Sacking him now showing breathtaking idiocy not doing it over the international break.

Or not even doing it now.

You mean to say that by acquiring a world class player, the standards required raises to winning stuff that Ole couldn’t handle. Surely.

surely people can’t find ways to blame our only player whoseems to have high standards and continues to surprise with his performances.

Yeah, no.

He's lost the players mate. Anyone they put in charge right now will get more from these players than Ole. Carrick, Keane, Warnock, lliterally anyone.

He won't survive this, but the indecision has cost us another 3 points. Hope they don't feck up the next appointment.

That's not a problem though. We're not going to win anything this season. We're rubbish. The next step is getting a manager, even a caretaker who we think can do better than what we've seen for 3 months. That's not difficult

The whole situation is beyond bizarre, at this point. I can't fathom how he's still here, and how in the name of god he will survive that result. But, it wouldn't surprise me if he does.

If that's your opinion of every manager who's ever been fired, then at least you're consistent. Otherwise you're just letting your (understandable) frustration with Ole cloud your logic.
What are you on about? You said he's not money grabbing or putting his own interests before the club but he genuinely think he's the best man to turn things around. If that's the case and he evidently isn't going to turn things around that makes him deluded, which bit are you even arguing with?

I think you're missing the vital element where he's a club legend, most managers obviously wouldn't put the clubs best interests before their own and no one would expect them to. You never heard anyone say if Jose loved the club he should resign, that would be ridiculous.

So yeah he's either acting in his own interests and disregarding the interests of the club or he's deluded. People can blame the board and rightly so but Ole is losing us points in order to get a payday, it's sad from a club legend and hope he rethinks and just resigns with a smaller settlement.

Ole rings Greta Thunberg.. "Hey Greta, what do you think of my Post-Match Press Conference today.?" ... Greta Thunberg replies ... " Blah.. Blah.. Blah.."

Conte was available. The reality is the board desperately don't want to sack him because he's mates with everyone at the club, doesn't make too many demands and protects Woodward and the Glazers.

He waves to the fans after every game, I wouldn't read too much into it
True, it's just the way he went right over and put himself at the front, and seemed to spend a bit longer than normal waving. I definitely thought it was "Goodbye" goodbye, and not just, "Cheers for coming, see you next week" goodbye. Or maybe just wishful thinking.

He’s gone. He won’t stay. I don’t think he was the worst since Fergie. Some of you have very short memories. He’s been the best since Fergie - legend of the club - the most I’ve enjoyed football since Fergie ( bar the tragic games this season) Shame.

Yeah it's Ronnie's fault. You know what really destabilized us? Having a manager that has no fecking clue what he is doing, getting sung and clapped at by deluded fans for months and months.
