He’s ruining his legacy.
I disagree personally. The Glazers are milking him for every drop they can get. They are more than happy for him to take all the shit that they would get if we had a competent manager. He's basically their human shield.

"You and your paper can feck off."
He's still better than Ole
Score 49 league goals with Depay, Falcao, Di Maria, Rooney and Van Persie in your squad and finish fifth, better than Ole.
Take the reigning champions of England and have them miss out on Champions League football for the first time since 1995-96, better than Ole.

By all means want him gone, but feck me tone the hyperbolic bollocks down.

4 points out of 21- two of the current bottom three have a better record. It's time for a change.

I am all for freedom of speech usually but the 450 voting for giving him more time must be permabanned.

What are you on about? You said he's not money grabbing or putting his own interests before the club but he genuinely think he's the best man to turn things around. If that's the case and he evidently isn't going to turn things around that makes him deluded, which bit are you even arguing with?

I think you're missing the vital element where he's a club legend, most managers obviously wouldn't put the clubs best interests before their own and no one would expect them to. You never heard anyone say if Jose loved the club he should resign, that would be ridiculous.

So yeah he's either acting in his own interests and disregarding the interests of the club or he's deluded. People can blame the board and rightly so but Ole is losing us points in order to get a payday, it's sad from a club legend and hope he rethinks and just resigns with a smaller settlement.
You put some words in my mouth there in that essay, but it's really simple - every manager at any club going through a bad spell thinks they can turn it around. The vast majority of them are wrong, but for your logic to follow, they'd all have to be "deluded idiots".

I get the emotion and frustration, but looking at it coldly, the "Ole doesn't care about the club" argument is childish nonsense. His time is up, and he needs to go, but he clearly cares about the club.

Probably going to concede that many goals by Christmas the way things are going.

Why should he. Sack him. feck the Glazer cnuts.

It's obvious this is over, it's been over for some time. But would you turn down a pay off?

Would you feck
There is a point where pride and the sense of honor would see you quit. Money isn't everything, particularly when you already earned millions during the last 3 years.

How come there is 13.3% of us who still think he should be given more time?

Please provide a viable source or else delete
This is happening more and more on here, can we bring in a rule where people can't post things like without proving a source please.

I don't what would i do IF i am a club legend. But if he doesn't want to do it then surely his status of "club legend" is a past now, right?
Now, he is just a leecher who is leeching on this club. Nothing else.
True club legend WOULD resign and kept his reputation. He is just showing that he cares shit for this club.

Everyone saying Ole is selfish for not quitting...would you quit a job when you have a contract like his? Some of the talk around him is disgraceful here tbh. He's well out of his depth and needs to go but some of you should take a long look at yourselves, the way you're talking about him. He's a decent guy, genuinely cares for the club and has given us some unforgettable moments. Shameful, some of the reactions to him here. I can only believe most of the folks spewing vitriol weren't old enough to see '99 live.

He has to go, absolutely. Imo he never should have gotten the job in the first place. But I hate this online pile on.

Again people calling for him to resign, why the feck should he? If the people above him are thick enough to keep him employed he has every right to milk the situation. He'll never be in this position again.
because he’s the one bleating his mouth he’d quit if he can no longer take the club forward back when he’s all about Make United Great Again. Well what now?

Really bloody weird post match interview.

Players not in the right frame of mind?!? Seriously, that’s what he’s going with?
How do they go from having two weeks away on international duty, to then coming back and being in the wrong frame of mind before this game? Is he saying they've been in this frame of mind for a while? Surely he realises that he caused it then by not playing players who deserve game time and sticking with the same tactics and formation despite it not working and embarrassing everyone?

Yeah I'm sure there's not one potential candidate out there thats better than Ole and would take the Manchester United managing job. The bullshit you spout in every thread is something else
Who then?

We need someone to be able to win titles not just be better than Ole which at this point won't be too hard.

Or this whole process starts again.

fecking nonsense.

And I think he should have gone a while ago.
He‘s unquestionably a much inferior manager to Moyes, LVG and Mourinho. Whether he has been worse for United, is more debatable although I am increasingly starting to think so. The Glazers loosened the purse strings for him and we don’t have a lot to show for it. Plus this season is now getting even worse (on the pitch) than the end of the three previous managers.

Enjoyed watching him squirm, this has to be the end now. Stunned that it took this long.
What the actual feck? It's all well and good thinking he shouldn't be here, I think almost everyone is on board with that this point, but enjoying watching a man fail at his dream job? A man who's undeniably a club legend of the club you supposedly support? Fans on the internet are all kinda of fecked up.

Tbf, Depay was a young lad, not what he is today (and today he still isn't good enough for a top club). Rooney was way past it, Van Persie and Falcao were permanently injured and Di Maria was the only player who I'd agree was horribly mismanaged. The situations were quite different, as well, as Van Gaal had to fix Moyesy's mess that was left behind.

On Moyes I agree. He is a far better manager than Ole, but he wasn't the right fit for United and his performance stint during it certainly was the worst. From champions to 7th while getting spanked by every top team. Ole is certainly trying hard this season to surpass him though and it wouldn't surprise me, in a situation in which he doesn't get sacked, to actually does surpass Moyes in incompetency, especially given how much more he spent on players.

As great a player as Ronaldo is, bringing him back in has really destabilised the club, especially Ole.

Ole now looks like a rabbit in the headlights and I genuinely believe that all his plans were turfed out the window once the Ronnie circus rocked up…..don’t think Ole has the strength of character to deal with all these egos

we really really need some strong leadership now
I totally agree with this point
We have not had one single good game as a team since Ronaldo arrived
I am not saying Ronaldo is the only problem but it doesn’t say much about our future planning if we are relying on a 36 year old to take us forward
We can not press with Ronaldo and I don’t think He plays well with Bruno anyway hence why Bruno hardly ever starts for Portugal
Juventus are still trying to sort out the unbalance Ronaldo created in their Team
Ronaldo is probably suited to a Man City that controls possession of the ball
We are not good enough as a Team to have a luxury strike like Ronaldo(sorry fanboys)
Also Ole is way out of his depth to manage a player like him
To get the best out of Ronaldo, you need players like Fred,Cavani,Lingard to do his running for him
To play Ronnie with Greenwood,Rashford or Martial is just asking for trouble and we are in deep trouble
We need to start playing as team again, controlling possession
