We're going to be managed by a giant advent calendar. Each day a new ex-player will come out and have a go for 24 hours.

Number 25 is King Eric.

As Michael Owen just gleefully pointed out, there is no one out there and Zidane doesn't speak English, so United are screwed.

Ideally they'd also discuss offloading Maguire to any league one side who might consider buying him.

The club had built a narrative that Liverpool and Shitty were too strong for us to beat considering that we're off form and were relying on Ole thrashing Watford to bring some positivity back. Ole can't survive this.

Not sure throwing more money at Zidane is going to make any difference but worth a try I suppose. It's not like Zidane isn't interested because we aren't paying him enough.

Hopefully today will be the day he's finally sacked. Wouldn't surprise me if they give him another few games though.

the fact it states a time makes it more credible imo.
Yeah but we have no real way if verifying it. If he gets sacked good, if he doesn't then it's believable they decided nothing to happen as they are all stupid

Ole will resign by the end of December, then work as a consultant for the new manager.

No. The manner of the defeats meant that narrative wasn't allowed to be made.

Where the grass is greener.
They will give the job either to Carrick or Butt - one of them will be very good but not get the job due to the mistake that hiring Ole caused.

So after interim of Carrick or Butt - a new manager comes. They do well but get sacked.

Then we go hire Carrick or Butt.
Fairly confident absolutely none of that will happen.

If they weren’t taking Conte (who supposedly was all on board for it) then surely they convinced Zidane on it?

Or they’ve caved into Rangnick?

Or Rodgers has decided he wants in now?

Who the feck knows :nervous:

Keane would be a disaster. He's not a good coach, and I can't see the players responding well to his style at all.
Love Keano but yes his style is too abrasive, also he's been out of a head coaching gig for ages anyway. He's been assistant in his last two roles one of which was Ireland.

I agree mate but that was the club's strategy to protect Ole. This defeat pulled the carpet under their feet.

This is it, it has to be. I watched his post match interview and watching him pressed by Geoff Shreeves and just not having an answer for any of the questions just makes me feel for him. It’s cruel to prolong it, and he won’t resign so the board need to act tonight.

Thank feck. Looks like it's happening finally. Took long enough. feck knows what was going through their brains where they thought that he could get more chances after losing 5-0 to Liverpool, and then getting hammered like that against City as well. They genuinely believed Ole could turn it around  What a fecking joke. Thank god it's happening though. Better late than never.

Just fecking hope it's not Brendan Rodgers otherwise it'll be the same garbage shit.

Bielsa didn’t speak English but the language barrier didn’t cause problems at Leeds (although they’re struggling this year)
