Needs some time out to get his game back together. If Dalot is deservedly keeping you out you have a problem.

So so lazy. It's incredible he had to fake being seriously hurt because he didn't fancy running back
This. Hope RR tore him apart in the dressing room. He didnt even jump for that challenge. Cowardly and disgraceful. He should be banished to the reserves. Any RB would be better than this moron

Nowhere near good enough if we're serious about competing with City and Liverpool

Don’t know if they are showing it on TV, but AWB took a nasty fall at the end of the match when crossing and our physios were completely oblivious, despite stewards and fans screaming and waving. Now brought a stretcher over very belatedly. Looks a bad injury.

Awful game from him. Especially under the circumstances.

Knew his place was under threat and that was his response? Yikes.

Probably a broken arm or dislocated shoulder.

Not his biggest fan but I wish him a speedy recovery.

Awful shithouse of a player. TERRIBLE performance. Hopefully that clatter at the end sees him out for the season so others can get a crack at RB.
disgraceful post. It’s one thing criticising a player but wishing harm on a player, let alone one of our own team, is just disgusting.

He’s unsurprisingly hopeless in a proactive team. Ship him off to northeast asap.

Awful could not describe it. Does he even has a succesful dribble and cross ? Jogs around like he is prime Maldini. Plus faking that head injury

fecking pathetic from him. His inability to even hit a 5 yard pass with his weaker foot is hilarious. He literally plays as though he was an athlete in a different sport and then someone recommended he try football recently.

Add RB to the top of the list for what we need.

And to imagine he actually was a winger in youth team. What a fecking joke. Out of all England RBs we got the worst out of them. Would swap him with any top 10 club RB in the league. His body language is also appaling. And he cant head the ball for shit.

Any system that requires our fullbacks to see so much of the ball in attacking areas cannot work with this guy.

Leaving aside any defensive faults, I just don't think he's good enough technically for a top side. He happens to be in particularly poor form atm which happens to everyone at some point so I wouldn't be overly harsh on that but even when he's in good form, he still isn't good enough technically.

Poor touches and misplaced or misweighted passes are far too regular occurence. And because he knows he has these limitations, he often chooses the most risk adverse passes he can.

Also, when he gets the ball from deep (from the CBs, say) he has an irritating habit of positioning himself so that he's square to the ball which means his first touch is backwards.

All that said, hopefully he isn't too badly hurt at the end there. Aside for sucking for him, we're not exactly blessed with RBs.

That was a really poor performance under pressure. Worrying.

Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad, mind.

Hopefully he's OK because it looked like a potentially nasty injury at the end but overall he was rotten again. The attacking side has never improved and he's always been very reliant on last ditch tackles and his recovery pace to overcome his positional issues defensively but the thing that's really pissing me off is how often he just seems to be jogging back in to position when we're defending, he's nowhere near talented enough to get away with moments of such complacency.

Seen him play better. Even as an AWB apologist I can say that he struggles offensively, mightily at times. Juxtaposed with the gifted Dalot, he is a frustrating watch on the ball. Still wouldn't right him off completely though.

Disgraceful.

Not even surprised. Some of the comments I’ve seen about him make me genuinely uncomfortable. He’s clearly the new target.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Bit of an understatement…I don’t think I’ve ever seen him as bad as he’s been the last few weeks. He’s miles off it.

Everything looks like a struggle, he’s someone that has really been negatively impacted by the lack of coaching under Ole
because he really needed it.Hard to see him not ending up as deadwood sooner or later.

That's because he's subconsciously aware of his lack of technique and knows that any risky touches = bad. Even players that are one-footed are still able to play a variety of types of passes, with the ball in different positions relative to the body. AWB does the same thing Smalling does where they need to be almost perfectly oriented in order to play the ball in a certain direction, which leads to them rotating their body around the ball as they look for a pass, but which also shows everyone where they intend to pass.

Hope the injury isn't bad for the same reasons as you.
