He's doing a worse job than all his predecessors with a better squad. He'll also be coming off 3 sackings out of the 4 clubs he's managed. If that doesn't scream damaged goods I don't know what does
For once Utd should hire someone who's stock is high/on the rise
His predecessors didn't have a don't give a feck Messi to try and shoehorn into the team. May not seem a big deal but we've been having our very own discussions about how Ronaldo is disrupting our team. Whether it's true or not it's worth considering. Like I said in a previous post. If a player has more power than the manager then it's already game over.
Maybe people should look at the reasons Poch has been sacked instead of taking it for granted he just isn't a good manager.
When Poch first came to Espanyol they were doomed. He then preceded to take them to mid table status for 3 years which for a club nearly always fighting relegation was a massive achievement. He blooded in plenty of youth which were then being sold to pay for their new stadium which is why it went tits up in the end. Living close to their ground I went to plentry of Espanyol matches and I can tell you the difference between the team pre and post Poch is noticeable.
At Tottenham it was much the same story. Completely limited in the transfer market, once again to pay for a new stadium. Key players contract unrest was only going to finish one way.
As there's rumours about us building a new ground maybe hiring Poch would be the perfect candidate. Punching above his weight for 3 years before it goes tits up again
