Not been great but deserve to be going in level tbh. VAR is just a farce because the officials are bad.

Been that way for months now under this fraud manager.

Not saying the players arent to blame, but they've clearly no respect for the manager or his instructions.
Are you seriously saying it hasn't been like this under previous managers.

Good first half after Liverpool game. We should be infront but thanks to VAR and referees were are down. For me this is shocking display by referees. You can make misstakes but when you do it all the time against certain team it is different.

Ronaldo starting to get angry with Bruno's passing. Surprised it took this long tbh.
It's more the pointless risk taking. He had time for a more sensible pass to someone closer and he goes and tries a hopeful long ball from deep inside out own half that was never on. Just seems to have zero composure and always in a mad rush

So many players that aren't good enough. Telles, dalot, mctominay need to be shown the door as well, but they'll be here next year because only so many can leave.

people here have short/selective memories. Matic has been finished for a while
And yet he's still better than anything we have in the squad. He protects the ball, calm in possession, can progress the ball from deep. Fecking hell he even crossed it for our goal. The only problem is he's physically not up for it any more.

Despite the scoreline and comical defending for their first goal, it might be the most enjoyable half of football we’ve had under Rangnick. Ronaldo is in good form at the moment.

The player fouled wasn’t offside. The guy who put it in the net was.
So what are you arguing? That player being offside has nothing to do with the foul that took place before. He's only offside because the ball came to him after the foul.

PL is atrocious outside of the top 2, we are actually better than them.
We've looked way more threatening in attack than they have. We're actually creating chances through clever movement and wing play (mostly Sancho) whereas Arsenal are simply reacting to our defensive mistakes.

We can win this game if we suddenly become a team that converts its chances.

They have done the same to how many managers…
Aye. I am definitely not placing the blame only on the manager.

But these players, even as cnuty as they are, should be capable of fourth if they actually got fit, put in effort and had a litle bit more organisation.

The player wasn't falling, he was trying to get up by crawling on all fours in his own penalty box. It's a stonewall penalty. If he slips and he hands it then fair enough but he was fecking crawling around the box and it hit his hand. If he does that all the way to the byline is it fine?

He's crawling to get back up, he isn't falling. A fall is when you slip and it hits the trailing hand, by the definition Walton gave you could crawl around the box on all fours and just fecking punch the ball out of your area as long as you look like you're 'falling'
I think that’s falling, most players in professional football will fall at pace whilst trying keep their feet.
Just out of interest how many close decisions would you say have gone Utd’s way in the last decade compared to how many have gone against? Your answer will be quite telling, I think.

We might score 1-2 more but we will not fail to concede. Therefore we won’t win.

Defensively atrocious, still dont udnerstand Telles and DAlot starting over Shaw/Bissaka....neither can defend whatsoever.

Apart from that, cant really complain, the fight has been there, pressing has been there, I think Ronaldo has shown is class despite all that has happened with an excellent performance so far and Sancho been decent.

Also think we have been unfortuante, dotn care what Peter Walton said, that was a penalty for us and a harsh one against us as he did say.

We can get back into this game but are so poor defensively we could still lose 4 or 5-1

You cant get fit mid way through the season and they have been organised. If they chose not to listen because the manager is only an interim well….

The difference in talent between Bruno and Odegaard is instantly visible. By the time we read about the main events in the morning, it may not be as visible - Ronnie may head in a Bruno corner - but everything in between, planets apart.
Bruno can't retain the ball. He can only pass it forward if he's unmarked or either he's flicking it on the first touch.

He is not a playmaker in the mould of scholes, iniesta etc.

Two gifts of goals is why Arsenal are ahead here. Not sure why VAR didn't look into the two United penalty incidents but was so quick to give Arsenal a penalty.

United defence can't do the basics Maguire or no Maguire so expect at least another goal conceded 2nd half. Are United capable of scoring two goals 2nd half to grab a draw?

My feelings aswell. We can get more goals here easily but the midfield is non-existent to a point is comical so Arsenal are constantly at our back line.

Feck Telles. What a shite half from him.

Misses the ball for the opener. Shows Saka onto his fecking left foot. Then, arguably most unforgivably - rolls around on the floor like a massive fecking fanny for five minutes after barely being touched immediately after we've just scored and are attacking Arsenal at will, killing all momentum.

Depends on the day. Some refs will give it others won’t. Just more annoying given the potential two not given to us, one of equal softness as this.
I'm not watching the game, relying on GifLord's clips. I haven't seen the others yet, but this one looks like a terrible call. Don't think Saka or any Arsenal player even appealed for it.

I'm afraid Shaw and AWB are at the same level... we need two new full backs
